If the Labrysians straggle, it is only because they are haggling with the weaponsmaster. They come back with a number of heavy missiles and launchers, asking if you could help them out with some cash. Say, $35,000? They have 2 100 mm launchers with 10 spare shaped charge rounds and 5 84mm LAWs. It seems the talk of possible government armour scared them... Cyril makes some choking noises... then addresses the weaponsmaster. How much for just one 100 mm launcher and maybe 3 or so LAWS.

"$10,000 for a launcher, $480 per missile. $24,800 for the lot, plus $8,000 for 5 one shot 84mm LAWs. Oh, wait, that is $32,800, sorry."

Re: Investigating the Labrysians
Interesting mathematics... so $10k for one launcher and $480 per round... for ten rounds... so that is $14,800. and three LAWs would be an additional $4800 ... so $19, 600... that seems more rational. Still not sure I want to pay that much... do you offer quantity discounts for 5 to 7 items?

I am so sorry ... perhaps Andrew Kalishnakov can buy in those quantities, but I cannot. How about we buy the 10 rounds for the 100 mm guns, of which we have two already, and 3 more LAWS... That should be $9600...

The Labrysians then purchase the other two.
[OOC: They had agreed to purchase them already with their own cash, that is why they were added to the sheet, they just wanted you guys to re-imburse them for some of it! That was why they asked for the cash after they got back to the ship, but I assume from Lewis post he invited the weapons master to renegotiate...]

[OOC: The initial post was after the Labrysian contingent on the Dastavka came back to the ship with the items, which I consequently added to the ships inventory. They asked for re-imbursement, but Lewis wanted to renegotiate, which caught me a little flat-footed. They will be happy for anything you purchase for them as it will all likely get used on the next mission, or so they think, but will get the rest out of their own pockets. Hope that clarifies things!
So, next Jump to 1439? Edit: we will start a new thread once you arrive in the first unexplored system.] This message was last edited by the GM at 04:43, Sun 18 Sept 2016.

Tanya is able to identify a good jump point, and lays in a path to it. System 1439 has five gas giants, and the first one has a moonworld that was identified as having possible primitive human life, although early surveys (ie more than 5 years old) by Labrysians found nothing. No Terran surveys are on record. Destination Gas Giant one, presumably?

The jump into hyperspace goes without events. Most of the other craft are getting ready for the raid, the first by rebels on government troops since Hibernia fell, and there is a level of excitement.
All that fades as you enter hyperspace... This message was last edited by the GM at 02:32, Tue 20 Sept 2016.
