I am in two minds with where to go from here. The planet is now basically defenceless, and holding it would be an obvious strategic move, but you would need Labrysian troops to capture it. The clear choice would be to send Dastavka off after dispatching whatever troops are available, as it is the smallest ship.

But that would mean 2 PCs away for a long time. As players, how do Cyril and Kat feel about taking over Dastavka security personal or even creating troops from one of the other vessels (based on 150 point builds). Alternatively, Meir could be recalled back to Dastavka sfor the trip back to the Labrysian command. Thoughts/peferances?

Indeed, Cyril is mostly a ship person as well... but Gloria could reappear... perhaps in another of Kalishnakov's ships ... qualified crew is likely hard to find out here, so some waivers might be granted.

Nothing wrong with stating out the crew we've got. Alternatively, there's a bunch of humans we're supposed to be rescuing...

The crew  you have are all stated and valid options. The guys you are rescuing, plus any reinforcements from the other ships, are not stated, but all also valid options. If you want, you could even take a Labrysian as well  but he would need a reason to head off with the humans after the fight if you wanted to keep him (optional, but not necessary).

And the atmosphere requirements will always mean they're wearing a respirator...
Oh, and Meir would probably try and kill them at some point.
