Good news... we do some maintenance, resupply non-perishables and make arrangements for perishables that we can buy frozen or freeze aboard ship. I suggest all get as much sun and fresh air as they can this week.

I take Jurelda and William and we go looking for a small craft using all our previous contacts and a general search as well. Williams ancient grav sled is better than nothing but we really need a craft ableto carry children and passengers in  regular clothes ... ie no space suits needed. Some ability to carry cargo is also desired. we can carry anything up to about 20 dTons.

This looks really interesting except it "costs" $4 million more than we have... Was that the asking price or the when new price?
I've seen Heros that were only about twice that.

We dicker a little ...  Jurelda doesn't make any headway, but Sdian steps in and does a good deal better.

That was the new price. This is an older model, HT 9 but still a pretty good workhorse. Those Hero's would have been about 150 years old!

The merchant is willing to go to M$6 for the old one, or M$11 for one that is just 15 years old, but bright pink! (HT 10)

I have  Jurleda & William give me their opinion after looking at them some ... $6 Million is much more in our price range, but I don't need a hole to constantly pour money  into either.

The new one is a nice version. The previous owner was an eccentric aristocrat, but the reduction in price is due to the unusual colors and odd artwork through the vessel. William can repaint it though. Both like the newer one as it is more a better model, but either will suffice. The older one will need a major service, probably costing another million.
