Re: OOC

See goodberry also is a trigger for healing after a rest so next level goodberry, cure wounds and hunters mark.

Now need to start to think about my level 4 feat. Debating between 2, medium armor mastery or ritual caster. Caster is multi purpose and rp flair, armor is sure survivability.

Re: OOC

And actually. You can add your DEX modifier to all ranged damage rolls because the book doesn't say that you do that for only melee damage rolls, it just says use your ability modifier for your damage rolls. Discovered this helping a friend that is GMing another 5e game.

My bad Isabeau for some reason I saw you rolled a d20 for your attack and you had rolled a d8

go ahead and reroll that attack, and if you hit I'll edit

Re: OOC

Suggestion: instead of advantage on the damage roll for those who take the slow round, perhaps use the passive advantage / disadvantage bonuses, as per Passive Checks, pg. 175?

This would be +5 to spell DC, in this situation.

Agreed this is acceptable

so it did hit in this case... give me just a moment to sort things out

The advantage of taking the slow round is it gives you advantage on to hit rolls, but not with your damge

Re: OOC

Great good to know. Since I am a ranged type fighter might be using slow action a lot nice advantage as long as you aren't getting beat up by the mobs first.

Re: OOC

... intensely satisfying to visualize slamming a bugbear into the ground and dragging it around.  Are we anywhere I could toss him off a cliff or drown him?
