ADVENTURE: What to do Now?

Brad retches a little at the sound of the door opening. Then smiles and says, I’m fine, that was just for effect. He then puts his mage hand on Trager’s shoulder and says, We’re right behind you big guy.

ADVENTURE: What to do Now?

Oh more about the room since I seem to have lost my facilities shortly. In the middle of the room is the pool where the illithid took the worms from. near the door tot he hallway is a strange contraption with a glowing light in it.

And what you think is a storage chest here in the part of the room off to the side along a wall

the hallway leads into another room looks a lot like this one from here.

Make sure that's not a will o wisp in the contraption. I always wanted to make a trap like that, so, now I'm always on the lookout.

Brad inspects the pool with the eye-worms. Particularly if there is something in it that sustains the life of the worms, or some way to kill them.

InvestigATION!: 4

But his stomach churns and he quickly looks away.

Adora shuddered with revulsion at the sound the door made and looked back at the room. At the pool the eye worms came from. She reached back and summoned her power, sending a bolt of eldritch force at thepool, hoping to kill whatever was in there still. Then she turned back to the hall.

"We can't wait for the dragon riders to rescue us. I'll go first, unless someone else would rather."

[Ooc: 20:20, Today: Adora Brellyn rolled 13 using 1d20+4.  Eldritch Blast.]

The blast, blows a hole in the side, and the fluid with the worms all leak out all over the floor, they start crawling this way and that.

Brad retches for realsies this this then begins insulting them one by one. The insults are mostly scatalogical.

Trager spun at the sound of the blast and stared as the slugs began writing across the floor. "Out, now!" he growled, and headed out the door at a run.

He slowed as he approached the far door, crouching low, shield before him, head craning to get a good look around the new room.

20:13, Today: Darhill Trager rolled 24 using 1d20+4 ((20)).

In the middle of the room, there is a platform that looks like it can be activated with a button on the floor of it. There is also a second level here on half the room. You cannot see what is up there. Another hallway on the other side the room has been blocked by debris, but there is a hole in the side of the room to the left of the door.

ADVENTURE: What to do Now?

EDi jumped as the weird fleshy door opened itself, and nearly fired in reflex as the empty hallway was revealed. Luckily he didn't though, and was in the middle of congratulating himself when he heard a peculiar blast behind him, along with the splash what some bizarre fluid.  The others were on their feet now, Adora had apparently ruptured the tank holding the little worm things in it.

"What in tarnation are you doing?" He said in a loud, hushed tone. "You're gonna futz up our sneaky getaway, now do like the old man says, and get to moving like you don't want to stick around."

He was in the process of adjusting his tattered bowler cap when he spotted something that looks like a chest or large storage box. He began heading straight towards, hoping that there might be some needed supplies inside. He strode carelessly through the wet puddle on the floor, heedless of if he stepped on any of the struggling worm like creatures and aimed a heavy steel foot at the lid of the chest, in an attempt to open it immediately.

Brad tries to sneakily scoop up one of the eye slugs into a vial and stopper it, but is super obvious about it.

We might need one to know how to be cured.

18:01, Today: Brad rolled 9 using 1d20+4.  sleight of hand .

Isabeau didn't hesitate. She thought the little worms things were just as gross too. Making her move towards the door to get out of here. "Yep I want out of here too." Stopping at the door, taking one last look around her before stepping through it. To what, she was unsure of.

ADVENTURE: What to do Now?

The lid to the container crashed open, splintering a bit at the impact from the steel foot of EDi. Inside, wasn't much, but a certain shiny glint did catch his eye. He stooped down, reaching both hands inside to quickly gather up the few spilled coins back into their coinpurse and take it with him. With a slight spin as he turned, taking one last look around the room, making sure he was the last person there, he redrew his pistola and headed to catch up with the others, making sure to tie the extra coinpurse onto his old rope belt.

"Nothing wrong with a few extras, just in case."   He murmured, mostly to himself as he departed what was once a pool chamber, taking an extra moment to stomp on another worm that was too slow to get away.

As ya'll are entering the next room, ya'll feel the ship begin to seem to lean to one side, which you assume isn't normal.

The room began to tilt, and Trager liked that even less than the worms. He growled deep in his chest, a rumble that settled his nerves. He tightened his grip on the hammer and ran to the hole, stopping near the edge to peer around at what was waiting for them on the other side.
