Quetzlcoatl Hisses at Blackthorne "I have him, there'sss no bringing him back, and you're nexsst." seeming to have regained some composure he slithers up to standing, and makes the mental gesture at Blackthorne, just as Blackthorne wakes Manmirror.

Quetzlcoatl's boast proven false says "No, there'sss no essscape from the dream realm!  Thisss can't be!" 

Interface finds the files are notes on how to produce the anti-cancer snake concoction and experiments results, and various 'improvments' there's nothing there about this Coral or Quetzlcoatl, nor information on a way to reverse it.  The oldest files seem more coherent and mention that Dr Cobra wishes he could retrieve his research files from Foresite Cancer Center, as he had to recreate the formula from memory, and it wasn't as effective as it originally was on him.

Looking up from the computer, Interface looks at the snake man and shakes her head "Getting up and trying to put my friends to sleep is rude."
And then she sends a mental command to the piece of machinery to ram into him again.

Quetzlcoatl's foot steps in a small hole losing his balance just long enough to dodge destiny dames punch again.

Manmirror pushes himself erect, and glowers at Quetzlcoatl before calmly stating, "I'm going to hurt you, now. You'll need aspirin."
He steps deliberately up to both heads, and says, "so do I get Darien back or do I grab your tail and play 'crack the whip'."

With "DD" already on top of the self-proclaimed Aztec god and "MM" delivering his ultimatum, the non-alliterating adventurer draws out his boom gun as he follows Manmirror forward, and points it purposefully at the snake-man. Henry stands so he's clearly visible, a bit behind and offset from Manmirror, hopefully adding a little extra emphasis to his fellow hero's words.

OOC: I can't find anything in the RAW about assisting others in their actions...which, I suppose, is reasonable, since the MSH rules that inspired FASERIP predated codifying roleplaying concepts such as aiding another character.

The train car runs into the dual-headed snake again, hurting him mildly, but not running him over, he stands his ground. He says overdramatically "Darian wasss weak and without the parasssite holding me back, I'm a full God now! Tremble before me!  I will be mercssiful, kneel and beg for your livesss!"

He picks up the train car as it flails at him "I do ssso hate to get physssical, but I will if you persssissst."

Well clearly things just got serious..

With her recent streak of dodges she puts a little extra effort into it and gets something to land.

Interface is focusing on the computer. She copies all of the files she can, and tries to crack open the encrypted files, bending her intellect to the task, and it's proving hard even for her.

Today: Interface rolled 13 using 1d100, unique dice ((13)). Bronze!

Manmirror returns to his mirror form, and after a quick sprint leaps atop the streetcar being held by Quetzcoatl and continues moving towards the creature as he says, "Darien knows pain makes you stronger...tears make you braver...heartbreaks make you wiser... soon as I knock him out of you he'll thank me for a better future."

Agility 40, 23:31, Today: Manmirror rolled 77 using 1d100.  leap onto streetcar., SILVER result

Aster Man emerged from a tunnel and took in the situation. He saw the snake thing lifting a streetcar and realized that it was trying to kill some people. He flew forward and tried to push the streetcar back, out of the thing's hands.

03:54, Today: Aster Man rolled 75 using 1d100.  Shove streetcar out of monster's hands.

ooc: And apologies, all, been a rough couple weeks! Things have slowed a bit, so hopefully I have time to flesh out AM a bit and get to know my fellow heroes.

"Serious, indeed," Henry notes, adjusting the settings on his gun. He knows these things' hides are too tough for his gun to harm them, so he figures he can at least draw his attention away from all the other crazies. Distract him with a little razzle-dazzle, maybe?

Something's off in his settings, and the gun doesn't respond. He really needs to get this thing back on the bench.

Destiny Dame's strike lands a glancing blow, but still knocks the wind out of the snakeman, though he recovers with a hissing intake of air.

Interface has drops of sweat dripping from her brow as she furiously hacks the computer.

Manmirror lands on the traincar, forcing it to the ground, it and his own weight being too much for Quetzalcoatl to hold up.  Aster man knocks it away into the lab equipment again, Manmirror keeping his balance on it, but knocked away from his target.

Blackthorn fiddles with his strange gun.

Quetzalcoatl scans the area quickly and finds a service door behind the broken cage the train car was in.  He sprints to it and rips the door off the hinges tossing it behind him, and turns around backing into a long concrete corridor. It's not terribly tight, but enough that only 3 humans could get at him, or the train car.  He says "I've rigged the placsse to blow, ssso you'd bessst go out the way you came!" 

Well then we had better get you out of here  practically over extending her arm again leaves it just a slug.


OK gonna try and "aim" the knockback toward the exit..  spending karma...   well glad i spent karma or else this would be yet another miss..

Interface smiles when he issues his threat. He seems to have done a lot of computer work, so it's likely that his bombs are connected to the computer, and she delves into his computer to find the files to undo the explosion.

AM wasn't sure what to do, so he looked to the others for guidance. They seemed to know what they were about. "Who was that asshole?" he asked no one in particular.

"Lies, damn lies, and the internet," Henry quips. "It helps to actually have the rigging in place before you threaten folks with it, Q-ball."

The adventurer moves over to Interface. "Find anything useful? Can I lend a hand?"

Interface speaks without even looking from the screen "If you think you can help, sure, but don't second guess me, I have found some files, and decrypted them, and am now trying to find where in this maze of files he hid the control for the bombs, so I can diffuse it."
The tone isn't a condensing one, but that of a mind clearly focused on the task at hand.

Manmirror leaps from the train car at the door Quetzlcoatl has decided to use. He is determined to pursue the snake-man if only to get some answers. He charges down the corridor slamming through any debris in his way.

"Nothing within my sensor range shows any type of explosives, and certainly no detonator on the snake god wannabe. Unless he's talking about something computer related, I doubt anything around here is going to 'blow.'"

Destiny Dame hits Quetzalcoatl with a desperate glancing blow as he sprints to the door, it doesn't seem to slow him down considerably, on the other hand the blood and crunching of bone seems to indicate a solid damaging hit.

Manmirror keeps on him and ends up in his face after opening the door and backing into the corridor.  He says "I really don't want to hurt you, but your girl isss hurting me."    He stares past Manmirror at Destiny Dame and she passes out instantly like a sack of potatoes.

Manmirror says, "that's 'cause I've been holding back," and tries to grab Quetzcoatl. Unfortunately his efforts avail him not as Quetzlcoatl slips through his hands.

When Manmirror failed to grapple the villain, AM moved in. he wasn't sure about the rest of the situation but there was a bad guy who was hurting people and he was supposed to stop him. He grabbed the snake guy!

ooc: Sorry for being scarce, folks. A rough week piled onto a rough week last week but things are looking up, should have time to pursue games as I would like soon.

Henry trains his suit's sensors on the legacy equipment in the area. Is any equipment active? Could any of the old train cars nearby potentially have anything that could cause widespread damage? Is there an old boiler anywhere?

With the files on the computer all checked, Interface looks around the room, to try and figure out where would be the best places to hide the explosives, so she can try and neutralize at least some of them.
