CHARACTER SHEET PROCESS

Attributes
Distribute 60 points among:
STR (Strength), CON (Constitution), POW (Power), DEX (Dexterity), and APP (Appearance)
Minimum 3 maximum 18.
The average score for the person on the street is 9-11.

Distribute 42 points among:
SIZ (Size), INT (Intelligence) and EDU (Education)
The average score for the person on the street is 13.
Maximum for Size and Intelligence is 18.
Maximum for education is 21.

SAN (Sanity) is your POW x5
LUCK is your POW x5
IDEA is your INT x5
KNOW is your EDU x5 (maximum of 99%)
Damage Bonus:
Add your STR and SIZ. Use the total on the following chart

STR + SIZ Damage Bonus
 2 to 12 -1D6
13 to 16 -1D4
17 to 24 +0
25 to 32 +1D4
33 to 36 +1D6
(Damage Bonus is used for inflicting additional damage in hand-to-hand combat)

Hit Points: Con + SIZ divided by 2. Round up any fractions.

Magic Points: Same as POW
Sanity Points: Same as SAN listed in the Attribute box.

Skills:

Career skill points are your EDU x20. These are ONLY for the skills that come with the selected career.

Carrier skills:

Antiquarian: Appraise, Art/Craft (any), History, Library Use, Other Language, one interpersonal skill      (Charm, Fast Talk, Intimidate or Persuade), Spot Hidden, any one other skill.
Author: Art (Literature), History, Library Use, Natural World or Occult, Other Language, Own Language,     Psychology, any one other skill.
Dilettante: Art/Craft (Any), Firearms, Other Languages, Ride, one interpersonal skill (Charm, Fast Talk, Intimidate or Persuade), any three other skills.
Doctor of Medicine: First Aid, Other Language (Latin), Medicine, Psychology, Science (Biology), Science (Pharmacy), any two other skills as academic or personal specialties (e.g. a psychiatrist might take Psychoanalysis).
Journalist: Art/Craft (Photography), History, Library Use, Own Language, one interpersonal skill (Charm, Fast Talk, Intimidate or Persuade), Psychology, any two other skills.
Parapsychologist: Antropology, History, Library Use, Occult, Other Language, Psychology, any other skill as a personal speciality.
Police detective: Art/ Craft (Acting) or Disguise, Firearms, Law, Listen, one interpersonal skill (Charm, Fast Talk, Intimidate or Persuade), Psychology, Spot Hidden, any one other skill.
Private investigator: Art/Craft (photography), Disguise, Law, Library Use, one interpersonal skill (Charm, Fast Talk, Intimidate or Persuade), Psychology, Spot Hidden and any one other skill (Locksmith, Firearms).
Professor: Library Use, Other Language, Own Language, Psychology, any four other skills as academic or personal specialties.

Personal Interest skill points are your INT x10. These are for any skill on the sheet except Cthulhu Mythos.
Add the points to the base chance shown in parenthesis next to each skill.

The minimum age is your EDU +6.
Optional:
Adding 10 years to your character will add a point to EDU (With additional 20 career points)

The investigator has property and other assets of value equal to five times the yearly income.
One tenth of that is banked as cash. Another one tenth is in stocks and bonds, convertible in 30 days. The remainder is in old books, a house, or whatever seems appropriate to the character.
