Xan nodded and looked thoughtful, "I tried to get us maps but people laughed at me. Said there is some kind of confusing curse that makes mapping impossible. So I hope we prove them wrong."

"Well people still  get around there so there has to be some way to do it. I guess we can ask around when we get to Stormreach." Xan smiled, "I feel that we will enjoy discovery regardless."

Tanique chuckled.
"True.  As long as it's new to me, I'll be happy to see it.  Perhaps the natives have some way to confuse travelers who stray from the proverbial beaten path.

Xan nodded, "That is a possibility I had not considered. Illusions and such magics could certainly lead to confusion and people getting lost. We should mark any trails we make."

Another two lazy days passed by and the two women saw dolphins and some whales along the way. The skies were clear but dark clouds loom on the horizon and they can see the crew is busier then normal and getting the ship ready for a possible storm.

After a while the ship was swaying and rocking strongly and the sound of thunder could be heard and flashes of lightning could be seen. The sound of rain could be heard on the deck above.

Tanique's elven ears pick up something weird after about three hours in the storm tossed ship. It sounds like light scraping on the wall which is odd because only the hull and sea is in that direction.

Tanique moved closer to the wall of their cabin, her hand on her dagger.
"I'm not sure but...I think there's something scraping on the outside of the ship."

She looked at Xantria.
"While everyone else is busy, let's go check it out."

Xantria shrugs and follows Tanique. She keeps her bird with her not wanting it to fly about during the storm. She has her cat follow along as well.

Another of the creatures staggers back falling into the sea.

The last loos at the places where his companions had been then to where his trident lays past the women. He then loos to Taniques bow and turns and dives off the ship.

Splash.

The two women hear fighting elsewhere on the deck and see some crewmen fighting Sahuagin with gaff hooks and belaying pins.

Seems to be a bit of a scuffle between the groups.

Re: Full Sails Ahead
You hear fighting elsewhere on the deck and looking off that way the crew is engaged in combat with the fishmen.

A larger melee then the three who were fought before.
