Seamus lept up from his spot and smiled broadly. "Woo! Finally! Let's go!" he exclaimed, taking Aileen'so hand, unless she slipped free. Without much thought, he rushed in after the others.

Simon saw the woman again, the one that claimed to be in charge of this place.  She was heading towards the front.  He smiled, despite himself.  He took the long way around, hopefully giving the crowd gathered out front time enough to start filing inside.  When he came to the door, he watched the others, but refused to meet their gaze.  Anytime someone attempted eye contact he would look to the ground and pretend not to have been watching.

He silently followed the others in.  He felt weak already and was glad when he saw the pillows on the other side of the clear walls.  He just hoped he wouldn't fall asleep.  You best not fall asleep.  You came here to learn, to grow in power.  If you fail, the world will ground you beneath its heel, said the shadows in his mind.

Re: School Grounds
For a short period after she lowered her head, Jun didn't go any further, simply watching her reaction.  In the short time she'd been living at the Complete's home, it seemed she'd grown somewhat attached to the woman.  Or, at the very least, she respected the woman enough to dislike making her worry.  Whatever the case, when she declared that she'd eaten in her stilted, ephemeral voice, Jun let out an exasperated sigh.  He'd never really been angry in the first place anyway, so seeing her feel ashamed didn't bring him any kind of satisfaction.  So, as he looked of to the side to feign disinterest, he reached up and patted the top of her head gently.  "Don't look at me like that, its not like you're in trouble.  Just don't be afraid to eat with us once in a while.  It gets awkward when its just me and The Complete."

It was a kinder tone than Jun usually took, and he seemed to know it from the uncomfortable look in his eyes, but he was working so hard to ignore it that bringing it up would probably be pointless.  Thankfully, right at that moment The Complete made her announcement, and the gates were unlocked to admit the students.  Nodding to Amelia, and glancing once at Kazuya, Jun started off towards the classroom.  "See ya later, okay?"  Without another word, Jun started off towards the classroom at a nonchalant pace.

Reika's heart palpitated as the Complete stepped toward the entry of the school.  She sensed a kindness in the woman and grew anxious to meet her.  Reika felt for her sack on her hip and, confirming it was there, sprinted into the classroom.

Amelia tensed slightly at Jun's touch, there was something in it that reminded her of a past in the forest... She looked up at Jun completely to force the memories away, and hearing his comforting words (or as comforting a tone as Jun ever really pulled off), she smiled in a sort of reassured way. Hearing the Complete, her head turned to look at her, and her smile grew distant as she listened. Then Jun left on his final words, and she watched him walk towards the building. She turns back to the boy she had been hanging around all morning, looking for a reaction to the situation he witnessed, blushing faintly. She wondered if she should simply follow Jun and lead Kazuya, since the Complete and Jun both entered the clear building.

"W-Wait!", Aileen stammered with a blush at the sudden contact, feeling herself lifted on her feet and having only a few seconds to get her bag, before being guided inside by Seamus. Lilith, who had previously been on her lap, took to the air and was now following the two, letting out an amused caw whilst watching the two enter the Elemental History lessons.

Re: School Grounds
Kazuya's facial expression remained the same like it had the entire morning, only revealing that he was thinking his part as he listened to both Jun and the Complete following that. Even after the short conversation he couldn't quite tell what the relationship between Jun and Amelia had been. He had not even caught his name after all. Well, there would be plenty of time for that later. Kazuya remained wordless as the white haired boy left, only returning the glance with a simple look of his own.

His attention shifted back to the girl beside him, who seemed to be waiting for some kind of reaction of his. Did she expect a permission to go after them or was she simply waiting for him? Well, regardless of what she was thinking, he didn't plan to just stand around either. "Well, let's go then." Kazuya simply said, before he turned and started heading inside as well.

Amelia seems less expectant after Kazuya speaks, and follows behind him in an almost obedient fashion. She tilts her head as she thinks of what the class would be like, and feeling grateful that she had someone to stay near and maybe learn to be more like what people seemed to always expect from her.

[From: Elemental History]

Having left the confines of the glass prison, the adventurer brought her hands aloft pushing her right against her left. A satisfying click emanating from her right shoulder, as she brought both hands and gaze downwards; avoiding the glare of the rising star. “Right. Plan A, don’t retrace my footsteps.” That seemed a solid idea, Crysanthe nodded to her own solution. “Then hopefully amble into somebody who knows where classes are.” Despite her tone of confidence, her actual plan of action was really quite lack lustre as she begun to traipse about the grounds. It was nice out in the open, the oft little bird flying above their portraits scattered about the world she stood on; their shadows swimming amongst blades of grass akin to salmon leaping up river.

Crysanthe’s gaze softened, her eyes glancing over the bird in flight. It must be divine to fly, if exhausting. What were the outer islands like? Did they consistently have these themes? This beauty? Was it squandered? Or never noticed? She was young, but she knew so many remained blissfully ignorant. Yet, if you remain so you’re unable to witness true value. A repressed smile played upon Crysanthe’s lips. “Maybe I should stop daydreaming.” Absent-mindedly the words left her, barely a whisper as starlight spun, those eyes glossing over the world in a circular motion as she herself span on her heel. “Hmm.” The longer cloth of her top twirled, overlapping itself before jumping back into position. “Now, where am I going?” Laughter bubbled, though quiet and not as boisterous as it could have been. Maybe the birds would show her? She looked over her shoulder, watching the ink silhouettes retreat into the distance. “I have no better ideas.” And so she followed, a hop and skip in her step. Practically talking to the wind, her words baring no more the idle chatter.

As the young starlight-eyed girl decided to follow the crows and other birds around, Yui smiled from a nearby tree. As she giggled, the birds all seem to land in the tree around her. She scratches one of the crows heads before giggling once more and leaping out of the tree, to land gracefully on her feet, nice and low, and spring up a bit ahead of the girl. "Yui Yamana, Plant Earth Primary Instructor." The short young woman bows extravagantly, sweeping her arm. Despite it being a more masculine gesture, she doesn't seem to care. Her dark curls sweep about her face as boldly as her arm sweeps away from her body, and her emerald eyes seek the girl's metallic ones. Her smile is both bold and childish, pretty and playful.

The air outside smelled crisp.  Reika felt it go through her nostrils all the way through to her chest.  She didn't find the classroom stuffy, but compared to the exterior of the glass, the inside may as well have been flooded with lukewarm soup.  She felt reinvigorated.  Of course, she didn't know where her plant-element peer had gone off to.

After wandering for no more than half a minute, a vivified sort of movement caught Reika's eye to her left.  Squinting slightly, she identified her companion-- Reika, you've not even met the girl yet; how silly to keep acting as if she's your best friend-- and a radiant little woman who Reika never had seen before off in the distance.

Reika heard Geb's voice behind her and back-tracked into the classroom.

"Oh, wow." Reika took a moment to process that.  "Have you focused on just one or two of the elements or have you experienced all of them?"  She hoped she wasn't asking to personal of questions; she bit her lip.

"Also, I don't know if I've properly introduced myself.  I'm Reika Ro."

Their pace was manageable at this point and she looked for the two she'd seen earlier.

Re: School Grounds
Pools of starlight wove between the ink blots which scarpered like fleeing hares and the graceful black wings which glanced blows with the pristine blue above. The shadow dove, landing upon a gnarled though blossomed tree. The branches akin to a human hand, letting loose to the instructor’s leap. Crysanthe paused, resting on her back heel as her head canted to the left. Eyes searching. A moment passed, the feathered fiends behind the instructor turning their heads in a similar fashion to Crysanthe before she righted her head, lips parting and tugging at its corners as she grinned at the woman before her.

Pushing off her heel, she moved into a similar gesture, right arm sweeping in a wide flamboyant arc as her fingers caressed her abdomen. Her left arm outstretched to one side in her bow. “Crysanthe. Student of your discipline.” Her tone was formal, an oddity considering her grin before she sprung back up into an upright position. “Oh, now the formalities are to one side do we get to do something interesting?” Voice brightening, she bounced toward the tree. Fingers sliding over an outstretching branch, between knots and grooves. Pushing her finger into the seams, she gently brought it down as if moulding a sculpture; the tree bent to her will creating an extra small branching growth, a bud forming before it expanded. Rapidly running through season and cycle as a ripe green apple was produced, the girl promptly retrieving the delicacy.

“Thank-you.” Her left hand caressed the limb which she had moulded, a more than satisfying crunch emitting from the fruit as she took a bite from it’s luscious skin. Swallowing, she spoke up. “Sorry, kinda skipped out on breakfast. Well, besides one slice of toast. How’d you expect me to survive on one? Pah!” Crysanthe gnawed on the eggshell coloured innards. “I s’pose we’ll have to wait on the others, huh? Maybe I should’a waited on my introduction.” Bobbing her shoulders in nonchalance she allowed her eyes to wander, exploring the landscape before them. This certainly was a serene little area, now wasn’t it?

Moving over the horizon she spotted two silhouettes, as she sprung forth again jumping and waving as if a puppy awaiting it's owners homecoming. "Hey! Over here!" The words leapt from her vocal chords, dancing upon the wind as they searched for the pair hoping to reach them. "I won't have to wait too long then." She remarked, idle-mindedly.

Katsu walked out of the cube, glad his classes would be outside. Of course that was as long as there were inside spaces for when it rained. Looking around he tried to spot the other kid who he took to be in his primary class.

Katsu started slightly as the target of his search shouted, catching the kid's back as he ran. "Hey, wait up!" He called, running after him, trying not to sound too desperate. Even though the Complete was giving them a pass for being a bit late the first day didn't mean the other teachers would. "Sorry, sorry..." He said as he dodged around the other students waiting for their teachers. I hope this kid knows where he's going.

Re: School Grounds
. . . Devin blew dirt out of his mouth as he stood up from his little trip to the rocky hard ground. He bent backwards a little, cracking his back in the process. He had been running so fast, he lost his footing and high-fives the dirt with his pale face. He dusted himself off as he began to walk again at a brisk pace, but not running this time, so as to avoid another unfortunate meeting with the earth's crust.

As he came upon the school, despite his will not to run, Devin couldn't help it. He was excited to be able to finally do something after weeks of living with his grandparents. That, and the fact that Devin had never, ever done anything even remotely like this before. It wasn't until he reached the school's steps did he think about whether or not he'd be able to make any friends. The thought of him not being able to make friends truly scared him. He stood on the top step, his hand in the door handle, and exhaled a soft but deep breath. He opened the door.

The door closed behind him, and no one seemed to be in the main hallway, which  could mean only one thing, everyone was already in class. Thankfully, on the wall to his left, there was a bulletin board that listed the day's schedule, and the rooms. Devin's finger slides over the paper until he found where the Elemental History class was, hopefully, it would still be going on and he wouldn't be that late. . .

———> To Elemental History ———>

OOC: For the sake of getting Devin to his class, I chose to not have a run in with the Plant Earth class. As that would not only have interrupted Plant Earth's class, but also just wasted more time in which Devin could be getting to his class.

Reika waved (or rather flailed) her hand toward Crysanthe and the presumed teacher, slight crow's feet forming on the edges of her eyes.  She hopped to the side of her peer and watched her bite into an apple.

"I like the green ones too," she said.  "I'm not as good at apples yet, though."

To the both of them she half-bowed.  "I'm Reika Ro."

Yui laughed openly and lightheartedly at the girl's funny way of speaking. Funny as in her attitude was just so funny and social. Really, the instructor was quite excited by and proud of the girl's demonstration; apples could be difficult. She watches the girl with more than an openly warm smile, but almost like she would just jump and glomp the girl. She looks passed Crysanthe and to the other students, recognizing Geb and waving gently, nodding her head, a soft and gentle smile playing about her lips. Finally she speaks to Crysanthe in response. "Oh no, I could never expect you to survive on just one slice of toast, never ever could I expect that." The same playful sarcasm presented by the student was now used by the teacher. She would almost seem an equal eventually, maybe, perhaps only humorously, but no matter.

Re: School Grounds
Malachite glittered, the instructor's head lolling backwards some as laughter blossomed. Cheeks alight with rose, the giggling only ceasing once she had noted the other students seemingly following Chrysanthes lead, both having waved to the oncoming pair. Ms Yamana agreed to her dilemma, the silver haired plant elemental shifting to speak. Yet abruptly halted, realising the butterscotch flesh was still being mauled by her. Swallowing, she bobbed her head eagerly in return. “See!” Proclaiming loudly, she pointed at Ms Yamana. “This one gets it, you’ve gottah have a decent meal otherwise you’re all.” Raising both hands, holding them horizontal to her body she made a succession of ‘Eurgh’ sounds, feet dragging across grass and mud. “You just can’t work on that much food. Not properly.”

Quickly, she righted herself Starlight now watching her fellow student and noting the absence of her companion. Chrysanthe merely presuming he had wandered toward his own class. “Aren’t they cute?” Bounding toward her newest acquaintance she wrapped an arm around Reika. Holding the little petite apple before them, the chartreuse surface winking beneath the sunlight. The moisture of the exposed flesh glittering beneath the same rays, Chrysanthe turning the apple in the process. “They’re so sour, and it’s such a satisfying crunch.” Grinning, she let go of Reiko hopping back onto the balls of her feet. Her teeth gnawing and finishing the rest of the bountiful fruit.

“Moment.”
Taking a few steps back, she curled her right hand around the leftover core. Then swung her hand viciously, launching the remains onto a parallel hillock. Pirouetting, she beamed toward the pair of them. “Plus once you get the hang of the fruit, it becomes mostly the same. I’m better at herbs, fruit and making pastes.” Pausing, Chrysanthe suddenly burst into laughter candyfloss whirling beneath her cheeks. “After all, I make a living off selling produce. It wouldn’t be good if it tasted all icky, and mushy, right? Bleurgh, who’d want that?” Immediately, her eyes went wide cupping a hand over her mouth. After a moment or two passed, it dropped as garnet parried against her earlobes. “Sorry. I went on a bit, what’re we going to be learning today Ms Yumino?” Her attention now fully on their instructor. A smile on her lips, as curiosity begun to highlight the stars in her eyes.

"I'm glad to meet you.  Miss Yumono, is it?"  Reika looked to Chrysanthe.

"Well, I do the smaller fruits better, but my apples always come out overripe for some reason."  She shrugged and turned back to Miss Yamana, "But I suppose that's why I'm here, yes?"

Reika looked to her feet, where the shimmery grass tickled her toes.  She brought her fingers together in a sort of hollow fist and swayed as a sprig of Baby's Breath peeked cautiously from the dirt.  Reika reached down and plucked it, positioning it casually in her hair.  "I wasn't hungry, but I wanted to make something as well.  And you can never have too many flowers!"

Yui smiles brightly at the girl's excitement. "Oh I can tell you will be a lively one." Her voice is quiet, but without the stereotypical wonder, fear, awe, or other such emotion behind it. It was simply soft, as though not to interrupt the amusing interactions taking place with her students. She of course begins giggling uncontrollably at the zombie starlit beauty. Though Yui must have seemed the type to always be running her mouth, she didn't seem willing to use her words much for now. She nodded in agreement to the girl's "ramblings." "Yup. No one wants to deal with that."

Yui then focused on the sweet and younger seeming girl. "You are here because you are gifted, and can only get better!" She beams at the child, rocking a little on her feet. "It's lovely to see both of your abilities. I like the delicate energy you radiate." As she says this, she looks in Reika's eyes, an encouraging look to them.

Finally, looking at both, she exclaims, "Now let's get to class!" and grinning, starts running to the forest.
