Since I don't really know what I am doing, and you all seem like nice people that could teach a noob a thing or two, I am opening this thread up. Here you guys can explain the ways you think the game would be best played and how to achieve it on my part. Essentially you are all teaching me new and better approaches than my confused stop-and-start methods seen currently. I will not be offended.

Since I haven't been in the game long because of that unfortunate lack of Internet, I can't think of anything right now, but as soon as I do, I'll let you know.

Perhaps consider adding another GM. I know you've been busy of late, and having someone help out with GMing can lift some weight off your shoulders.

I'm not saying that you absolutely should have a second GM, but just think about it a little.

Hope this helps :3

In reply to Shiro Ishi (msg # 3):

Maybe filling in as some of the teachers (not of their own element) to lighten the work load? Just fill them in on what your plans are for those specific elements as the story progresses so they can steer it in the right way.

I'll just second the two preceding suggestions.  I'm very much okay with ghosting a teacher.

Woo! We had a good idea for once Roy!

Besides building a moat of course. That was a genius idea.

Believe it or not, I've got a co-GM for both of my games. Where the hell he went, I'm not sure. And I really have a hard time with relinquishing control my characters. I dunno if it's pride or what, but I haven't been able to do it so far...

Well if your usual co-GM is absent, you might consider having a different one help you out.

I understand not wanting to go through with the teacher idea, because it'd be hard to explain multiple characters to multiple people, but a co-GM is different because it's just one other person.

Here is a thought:

How about allowing those willing to create a teacher's assistant, who would be a graduate or the top student of the previous years. They would help out when the teacher is busy , following their instructions on the best of their abilities. Since they are just assistants they may do things in a way, which is different from how you would have imagined it, but for that very same reason you are still able to correct them, as you are still in full authority of your teachers.

That way you'd keep your characters, the class could progress even when you are busy for long periods of time and possible corrections to fit your scenario could be solved IG.

Well, it's just a idea.
