I have access to a Teamspeak 3 server that my brother hosts in KC if we want to consider voice over IP communications.

Re: OOC
I'm not set up for that...  But we could...  If we wanted to go that route we could use google hangouts too.  The nice thing about this format is people can post whenever they have time.  We don't have to schedule a session time.  People just hop in and post when they have a minute.  The game is "on" all the time.  I also like that we can think things through and write out our posts, kinda like a book.  I'll post some examples.

Re: OOC
Can I get clarification on generating ability scores? Is the 28 points meant to be spent using the system located here?

Yes.  Point buy is the safe option.  That 18 is expensive isn't it.

Re: OOC
Hey Jeff.  Take a look at the map of Andoran and decide where your mentor's tower is.  Closer to Falcon's Hollow would be better, just so you wouldn't have to travel as far to get there.  I kinda doubt a wizard would slap his tower in a backwater logging town like Falcon's Hollow.  If you wanted to do some research, there is a wiki on every town in this world.  It's pretty cool actually.  I wish we had these resources back in the day.

Your excavation spell reminds me of your cursed shovel of colossal excavation.

In reply to Dungeon Master (msg # 12):

So there is a big chunk of the second paragraph that I can not read. I am not sure if there is something I don't understand about languages or what the deal is.

Also, I'm not sure if you saw from my original introduction, but I was working under the premise that my master was injured in a laboratory accident. If this isn't effective for the story line, we can adjust it.

Re: OOC
Sorry to neglect this for a bit, but I have been very busy and working late. I missed it, and thought about posting even if I didn't follow through. I will strive to get this moving again so we can get others involved.

No problem.  I'm just glad you're enjoying it.  That's what's great about this format.  We all just plug along and do it when we have time.

Re: OOC
Agreed. I suspect, once others are involved, it won't be a huge deal if someone can't post for a few days because of whatever reason.

Re: OOC
I hope we end up getting Corey and Justin, but we can probably get through these 1st level modules with a wizard, fighter, and rogue.  Maybe they will get more interested when they see some action.
