Okay friends, it's about that time!  Our personal actions are largely getting resolved, and it's now time to start sorting out our public stuff.

This includes A) Working out a budget, B) Figuring out our last few actions (We're not in as much of a rush anymore thanks to our work with the Admech buying us at least another decade or so without a giant hammer falling on us), and whatever else is going on.

My suggestion would be to create a dedicated mental helthcare sercice considering the cyborg divisions issues. To at least give advanced warning, and ideally to reduce morale losses considering the depressing nature of 40k.

As an addition, we should consider a Social Integration Bureau to handle imperials and others we absorb into our society. That way we open up immigration of imperials (0.5% per year are the limit) that bolster our population.

Lastly, I'd really, really like it if I could get an action loaned to set up a dedicated diplomatic corps under Celina. Effectively giving me an extra action for diplomatic stuff which will be needed if I am supposed to play Rogue Trader.

I've done some former work on the budget.  Arankor asked for a slush fund for the army, so I set some IC aside for him until we know what he needs, and I fixed our escort weakness and got us an Assault Carrier built, as well as covered Elysium's upkeep for the turn.

We've got... Three years worth of income left.  We'll probably be okay as long as we don't build too many more Capital Ships.  But we can probably afford one more without having to cut back on anything else.

I need 25000 for the security overhaul. 10'000 of those are for Primium, although I suppose that can be removed as that part of the plan was a nonstarter due to insufficient personel for developing stuff. So 15'000 IC.

Do you plan to build the bug out colony towards the end of the turn?

Her mouth opens and closes like a fish out of water as she tries to start moving under her own power again, your support enough to reestablish her shields and prevent it from seeking to bury itself further into her soul.

You drag the squawking Horror forth from her, and hurl it into a waiting chamber nearby, designed to deal with manifestations of this kind. This is certainly the first test of the newer defences, but they seem to hold up quite well against the creature.

And with one last surge of power, you eradicate the beast, tearing it to shreds and burning the pieces, leaving little but psychic ash where it once was.

You are left with a dead daemon, and an extremely traumatised psychic on the floor in front of you. She seems almost catatonic, now that the threat is gone.


That takes care of the Sapper!

Or one of them, I hope this isn't a conspiracy, but I doubt we're so fortunate.

So, while I have said this to a few others, I haven't said it to everyone.

It has been explained to me, and I agree that I have been a complete and colossal cunt of a player, delaying things and generally avoiding my responsibility/actions and slowing things down, which I suspect is at least a small chunk of -why- OCP exists.

I genuinely just, didn't realise it, so this is my apology regarding my overall inaction over the last several months. Fleet command will be getting on with things now, for what that's worth.
