The Waiting is the Hardest Part
So it looks like the consensus is to visit Padid first. Sounds good. You still have to decide on the following:
1. When to go. It's an hour or so after sunset. He wants you to visit his residence during hours of darkness. You've been on the road all day. I can't recall off the top of my head if 5e imparts any fatigue penalties and, if so, when they kick in. Shops will be closed at night (they usually are). A curfew's in place, but between Corros urchin skills, Nic's urban ranger skills, and Ulfgar's druidic magic, getting around unhindered shouldn't be a major issue.
2. What to give him. You have a bunch of mended papers and a bunch of crystals. You likely have the sword he asked you to retrieve as well, although you haven't had any of your loot I.D.'ed yet.
3. What to tell him. Finds, encounters, time distortion, suspicions, hypotheses, etc.
4. What to ask him. There's been some talk about attempting to enlist his assistance against the Bloodforged regime.
5. Reward. I clumsily deleted most of the IC and I can't remember what reward Padid promised you for your services. Obviously, what you give/tell him will influence what he ultimately gives you. You may want to ask him for more.
Questions?
Don't worry about writing the perfect post. You guys always produce quality material. I'd rather have a smattering of more frequent brief posts between turns than long, quiet lags between longer posts. I mean, if you want to write a longer, more involved IC post, that's totally fine, but it's not required or expected every turn. Combat's been working great but non-combat has usually dragged quite a bit. If you're waiting on something from me or from a fellow player, speak up. We're all friends here. If RL is getting in the way, just let me know. You guys know how sensitive I am. Long quiet spells drive me mad.
Thanks, guys. You rock.
