Character Create
I am creating a forum here for character creation for the new adventure. i am proposing a set of rules and a process. Keep in mind, this is going to be your level 1 character and while your rolls may not be perfect 18's across the board, i think the imperfections and growing your character over time will be what makes this an interesting adventure.

The Process (for now):
1. Roll your attributes (4d6). Use the dice roller and roll 4d6 (removing the 1 lowest die) 6 times. We are doing this in an orgainc way so when you roll the attributes, they will be mapped in order to your attributes ( Str, dex, con, int, wis, cha). If any of the rolls is <10, you can roll again.

2. Based on your attributes, you select a race.

3. Based on the above, select the class that you would like to choose.

4. Based on the above, select Skills from the list provided by DM.

5. Basedon the above, select feats from the list provided by DM.

6. Combat stats

We can start with this and see how it goes.

I would suggest you we are allowed to order roles to the atributes we want. This way we are not all the same class or classes we don't want to play.

Interesting, nothing really stands out.

Maybe a Bard?

Think about which race u want to be. Racial mods can change attributes a bit. Mods below:

Human - none
Dwarf - +2 con, -2 cha
Elf - +2 dex, -2 con
Half elf - none
Gnome - +2 con, -2 Str
Half Orc - +2 Str, -2 cha, -2 int
Halfling - +2 dex, -2 Str

Fitz. You have pretty good Str and wisdom but dex is not good. I wouldn't do ranger. I think Paladin would b a choice for u if I had to make a suggestion.

TP. Pretty well rounded so bards def an option but boosting dex by race would make for an interesting elf or halfling rogue since int is pretty high too. Would make for a lot of skill choices.

I think You should also consider Ranger with your high dex and high int and high wis.

Monks also a good option for u.

Lot of choices I would say.

Just my 2 cents.

Paladin needs at least 17 charisma. Or at least they used to.

I misread - I dropped my 10's.  I can re-do everything if you think that's fair.

Monk is a good option - always rocked those in Baldur's.

Hmm.  Can I see what others choose so we can round it all out?

You're gonna kill me with constant rule checks against 2nd edition. Let's try to not be too rigid, I will make mistakes, you will make mistakes but let's be fair about this and exert energy in having fun and progressing the storyline while growing our characters. Don't want to get too bogged down with nit picking rules.

rule on Paladins. Nothing with minimum of 17 cha. Only mandatory trait is alignment.

"GAME RULE INFORMATION
Paladins have the following game statistics. Abilities: Charisma enhances a paladinís healing, self-protective capabilities, and undead turning ability. Strength is important for a paladin because of its role in combat. A Wisdom score of 14 or higher is required to get access to the most powerful paladin spells, and a score of 11 or higher is required to cast any
paladin spells at all. Alignment: Lawful good."
