RTJ and Character Creation (Read Second)
Welcome to the Academy, class!

Before we begin our lecture, please be certain that you have done your required reading.  Namely, you will need to have read the Core Anima book, and have brought your copy of both Arcana Exxet and Volume One of the book of Gaia.  Those of you who remembered their copy of the Core Exxet spells will be favored over the rest when it comes time to evaluate your capabilities!

Now, lets begin with a simple questionnaire!  Please, take your time and consider each question carefully!

Characters will begin at Level 0 with 400 DP.  Ideal Character age should be preteen-early teens, but I will make a special exception if you have a well developed concept that will ADD to the entertainment of the party.  Characters must take The Gift Advantage at creation, but because everyone is starting at level 0 you will receive an extra Creation Point AND the Cultural Roots Advantage.  Attributes will be a standard 8d10, re-roll 1-3, and the lowest Attribute is raised to a 9.  There will be no starting Magic Levels invested, but if you have Natural Knowledge of a Path your learning speed will be increased by 1 tier in that path, and the first 40 will not cost you any Magic Levels.

As an additional side, when submitting your RTJ please craft a character concept (level 4-8) to take the form of one of the various Journeymen Mages, Master Mages, or Archmage Professors.  Notably, please indicate what subjects they teach (a particular school/subpath/style of magic, enchantment, metamagic, horticulture, mystic creature biology, arts & crafts, magic combat, whatever you wanna make up).

House Rules and Build Info
  • Magic Accumulation Multiples can be purchased in .5 increments at half the cost.  Alternately, if you buy a Zeon Recovery only multiple, it can be upgraded to a true Magic Accumulation multiple by paying the remainder of its cost.
  • Learning Speed can be increased past level 6 if your character possesses Inhumanity or Zen.
  • There will be no starting Magic Levels invested, but if you have Natural Knowledge of a Path your learning speed will be increased by 1 tier in that path, and the first 40 will not cost you any Magic Levels.  These still count towards your level of Learning.
