Havok. He was named that because his power has that effect -- and he tries hard not to live up to the name. He tries to always stay in control.

Somehow hearing The Devil of Hell's Kitchen...and shooting him a quick glance from a kneeling stance...Alexander Summers knows what he has to do. Slowly he stands, still in control...but quickly losing his patience.

Sorry, Cap.

She-Hulk bashes the cars mightily into the massive crowd of Doombots, toppling a number of them, including taking off more of the lead's shell, leaving it mostly as exposed wires, yet still standing, but as they recover and turn to the Avenger and her companion, the effort seems to have came to nothing at all, such is the sheer, astounding number of robots assembled, now focusing their red, glowing eyes on the heroes.

The blast rips from Havok's hands into the crowd of Doombots in the sky, tearing into many of them and sending broken parts crashing to the ground. One of the groups nearest to the heroes is eliminated but beyond those husks now left mangled on the asphalt there seems to be no discernible difference in their number. They still chatter -- "ELIMINATE. ELIMINATE. ELIMINATE" -- and continue to marshal their forces to bring their forces down on the heroes.

"I have had enough of this crap!"  Iron Fist says under his breath as he stares daggers at the lowest-flying doombot hovering over himself, Daredevil, and Havok blasting away at its leisure.

the green and yellow-clad martial artist charges at the wall nearest to one of the automatons.  He leaps, bounds off the wall, and redirects his momentum upwards and latches onto one of the bots like an angry monkey.  He will then grab the arm of the robot and point it at another robot, using its own hand-blaster as a long-range weapon.

Iron Fist has 1 Plot Point

Dice Pool:
Team-d6, Obliterated City Streets-d4, enhanced reflexes-d8, Acrobatic Master-d10

19:56, Today: Iron Fist rolled 6,4,3,6 using d6,d4,d8,d10 with rolls of 6,4,3,6.  Bound off a wall and grab a Doombot.

Iron Fist will spend 1 plot point to add to the total.
Total: 16,  Effect Die: d8

Iron Fist has 1 plot point left (from the negative distinction).

It is Invisible Woman’s turn.

Extraordinary Success steps acting Effect die to dXXX
Higher reacting Effect die steps acting Effect down, to d4

Doom Pool: 3d8, 5d10, d12 -d8 (-d8/+d10) = d8, 6d10, d12

In a blur, Iron Fist bounds up the side of the building and on to a lone Doombot hovering too low, wrenching the android's hand, crackling with energy. At this intimate range, the Doombot sputters, stopping not because it has no defenses to this very close attack but pausing to recalculate its options.

Re: The Amazing Avengers #2: "...The Twilight's Final Gleaming"

The Doombots continue to swarm, blasting away, toward the heroes but as there are so many of them, they crowd in front of each other, throwing off their aim, with shots going wild and tearing apart nearby buildings and what is left of the street. Even though they do not have any precision to their attacks, the random blasts only add to the jeopardy in the intersection and this part of the city. The Doombots chant "ELIMINATE. ELIMINATE. ELIMINATE" as if it gives them any direction in the chaos. The lead android was torn apart by Havok still hovers, with armor and wires hanging from it, its voice modulation mostly static, but energy still crackling from its hands.

Grandstanding:+2d8 to Doom Pool from Doombot XZ-6UNR840 and Doombots S/C

The Wrecking Crew continue to effortlessly heave chunks of pavement into the sky at the Doombots, also digging into sections of the nearby building under construction. Piledriver lifts up a crane like it was paper and tosses it at the nearest cluster of robots, missing all of them completely but planting the construction equipment on the roof of the building that Daredevil and Iron Fist bounded from to enter the fray.

"Why don't you join in, 'Dozer?" Thunderball says, though does not slow from his own efforts to either destroy the Doombots or tear up the city.

The Wrecker pauses and looks across the intersection in the direction of the prone Invisible Woman. "Int' someone gonna help that lady?"

Re: The Amazing Avengers #2: "...The Twilight's Final Gleaming"

The flying figure bouncing between exploding Doombots draws closer to the intersection that is ground-zero for this conflict, ping-ponging between opponents but not seeming to make a dent in their number.  By the time it is clear who it is, he has already flown near the cluster of heroes and, with the grace of his namesake, alighted on the ground.  He rises from a landing crouch to his full height, keeping an alert posture as the Doombots hover and fire force blasts around him.

“We can’t take out enough of these to do any good. We need to cut them off at the source." He looks around as if trying to find something in the rampant disorder. "The Latverian embassy is near here.  That has to be the place." He looks back to the heroes as he ably dodges a force-blast. "Who needs a lift?”

First to post as going to the Embassy may use Falcon’s Subsonic Flight d8 in their dice pool.

Logan backed up from the seemingless endless horde of the deadly robots. He might...might...be able to fight his way out. He had considered an escape route. He was not an Avenger after  all. He did not save cats out of trees...or whatever it was that they did after fighting off alien invasions. Hell, most government backed agencies on earth ether wanted Logan to work for him, and then kill him somehow. Granted he did not want to see anyone in the city dead-but was Doom just hurling these things at opponents that did not have the sense to run or die?

He looked over, and knew why he was sticking around. Jen. She was not going to run away-even if she had been able to. Given what bad shape she was in, she could take one or two more serious hits before she went down. Then, he was not sure the robots where programmed to stop.

Logan made sure to back up against Jen. "Jen! We gotta go! They got some sorta robot factory down there! I am getting us out of here!" He only hoped she would listen...
