Total: 17, Effect: d8
1 Opportunity (available first to She-Hulk)

-d8 from Doom Pool to counterattack, d8 Effect die stepping up Overwhelmed Complication d8 to d10

Doom Pool: 3d8, 6d10, d12 +d6 -d8 = d6, 2d8, 6d10, d12

She-Hulk impressively throws the attacking Doombots to and fro but they press their attack when they find that slowing her may be a better tactic than eliminating this opponent. Contributing to their strategy to take down the powerful Avenger, She-Hulk, in her flailing to halt the assault of her attackers, leaves herself open, leading more of the robots to pile on top of her.

Re: The Amazing Avengers #2: "...The Twilight's Final Gleaming"

As the combatants continue their struggle within and without the embassy, a creak loud enough to rise over the clamor of the fight emanates from the building. After the pummeling the structure has taken from the Doombot’s force blasts and Wolverine and She-Hulk puncturing holes in the side, the upper parts of the place threaten to collapse, to shower a cascade of tons of steel and brick and mortar upon all those under to as well as folding over into the street, promising to topple on anyone foolhardy enough to stay in their cars.

-d10 to add Danger: Building Avalanche Scene Complication (for embassy group)

Logan saw Jen going down-and he tore into the seemingly 'commander' of the other bots. As that damaged one seemed to be the one who could take the most damage, and looked different than the others-maybe they needed him to coordinate. If it was destroyed at the very least maybe Logan could get Jen to safety where she could recover.

The shrinky/growy guy could easily get out on his own, but Logan would gladly use the man's powers to provide a distraction for him and Jen. Even as he attempted it, the destruction and mayhem already in the area cause Logan to need to dodge and weave over burning cars and trashed streets. His senses guided him to a safe passage without fire or the ozone smell of every blast. Finally make it to the damaged bot and try and rip it apart.

A massive wave of cosmic energy bursts from Havok's fingertips, blasting forth in concentric circles and tearing apart all in its path. The Doombot already damaged is torn to shrapnel that sprinkles on the city street, while the exterior of its compatriot is shorn off, leaving exposed wires and robot innards. However, since clusters of the androids are grouped so closely together they are able to support each other and do not fall, instead pressing their attack, their blasts drawing closer to those on the street.

The Doombots and the destruction happening around the group of heroes manage to shake Wolverine from his battle-ready stance but it is not nearly enough to knock him down.
The mutant does not have to travel far to bring a fight to the main Doombot. The X-Man pitches his claws into the robot but the force of the action turns the robot away, dodging a fatal blow, and when it recovers, standing upright before the hero, it seems unaffected, save for a few more loose wires, then, bringing its arm in a sideways, arcing motion, manages to strike its opponent with a force blast, which glances off Logan's shoulder, but enough to rend flesh and draw blood.

SKA-CRAAASH! The Doombots in the sky continue to blast away, tearing up what is left of the streets and the buildings around them, but taking most of their attacks to the Wrecking Crew, who seem to shrug their force blasts but still throw the debris they pull from around their feet and the nearby construction site with such urgency that their fear must surely go beyond just concern for their physical well-being. Street-lights fall and rubble falls like avalanches from the fronts of buildings but no cries from innocent civilian souls can be heard, at least not at the moment.

Sitting amidst the maelstrom of robotic bodies and heroic allies around him, with the avalanche of building directly above him tippling toward him and everyone in the vicinity, Yellowjacket investigates the android head he recovered. Initially it is inert, as lifeless as any of the rubble around or above him. But pulling out wires from beneath the face covering and re-inserting them elsewhere into the device... still nothing. Its energy source is dead, if it was even located in its head and not its body in the first place. This is not a kind of android with which he is familiar, though its complexity clearly shows the ability of its creator -- not necessarily better or worse, just different, and right now a bit far afield from what he could put together in the middle of this much chaos swirling around him and without a whiteboard. The thing's dead eyes stare uselessly in any direction the scientist chooses to point them, eventually looking back at him as he looks at it with nothing that ever resembled anything approaching what a human being might consider life. The thing has as much a recall signal as the tons of building threatening to flatten him at any moment, no matter how small he shrinks.

Just words before Yellowjacket finishes his sentence, the head of the robot spontaneously breaks in half. Probably nothing to take as a sign. The junk falls apart in the scientist's hands but offers no further indication of life, even that of a mechanism.

However, as the hero sits there, and with the stress of his shrinking, the energy he had captured seems to be flowing away, as the debris directly above his head rains tiny pebbles around him.

He flies the martial artist straight into the sky, dodging the Doombots and their blasts, not along the straightest route but the one that seems mostly likely to avoid harm.
