The Great Hall
Evelyn stood staring at the paintings, lost deep in thought. So deep, in fact, that she didn't noting the newcomers until she turned around. "Ack!" She exclaimed as she saw all the new people. "Where on earth did you come from?" She asked, staring at the three people, who(as it seemed to her) had teleported into the hall. "So by my accounts, we have a physic butler, a teleporting holy man, teleporting reporter, and a teleporting... Wait whadda you do?" She asked walking up to Kai. "Oh! Plus and accountant and a grumpy teacher." She added nodding at to Charlie and Elliot. "To all you new teleporting folks, I'm Evelyn. Or Eve, or Evie, or Evil. Also Eep. You can call me any of the above!" She introduced herself as she bounced around the room, clearly having forgotten why she was talking to Kai.

"I am not a teacher, I am a tutor. Teachers teach in schools, while tutors teach in homes." Charlie says as he turns to see the new guests to the manor. After giving the newcomers a quick glance, he walks over to a chair and sits down. After doing so, he pulls out his phone and begins play Angry Birds as the others continue to talk.

Kai looked at the new comer.
"Hi uh, Eve. Can I call you tha Ah well, I am a Chemist. Or used to be. So what do you think here? Any impressions?"

She'd watched the proceedings.  The people - the startled 'evil' woman, the 'tutor' not a 'teacher,' the chemist, -  none had seemed to notice her, they barely seemed to notice each other.  She had to wonder why she was there.

With no one to stop her, she set about to explore.  No point in leaving before she at least toured the house.

[To the bedrooms...but which...]

"Teacher, tutor, same thing..." Eve said with a shrug. "Wait," She added, slowing her bounce to a walk. "I was wrong, they are different. Tutors get paid more." She snickered. Finally realizing that Kai had said something, she exclaimed "COOL! You can teach me to make sti- smoke bombs!"

There was a gentle chuckle from the priest.

"While there have been some of my calling known for performing miracles, I fear I'm not one of them and shall have to pass on Sainthood. I simply arrived before the rest of you, fell asleep reading my Bible, then woke up and thought I should say hello. Rude not to, really. I'm Father James O'Brian, it's a true pleasure to meet all of you."

"Oh a man of the cloth, come to save us from order sins I pressume. Though I may not be the religious type, it is still a pleasure to meet your Father."

Elliot put out his hand in the form of a handshake for the Priest. After that he looked back towards Evie, preferring to call her that, and thought about the many nicknames that she was called. Taking note on one of them eep, we'll also Evil and decided to ask her.

"So Evie, I wanted to know, why is your nickname "Evil"? It seems strange even under normal circumstances.  It's very, "interesting", so do you think you could tell me why? That is if you want to."

Evelyn giggled. "A couple years ago some of my friends and decided to start pranking each other. I went all out and never got their surrender texts..." She snickered. "I kept thinking that they were planning something big, so I went big in response. Finally I saw the messages, but they had started calling me Evil by then. I guess it just stuck..." Eve shrugged, "It deters people from pranking me, so I'm fine with it!"

In reply to Evelyn Moors (msg # 19):

Elliot gives a small chuckle as he responded

"Then please do remind me to never prank you."

Elliot looks at the watch on his hand and it showed that it is still midday at the time or at least he hoped it was. It wouldn't be the first time that his watch was off about the time. Especially since he came back from a trip earlier. Though looking at the time Elliot spoke out to no one in particular seeing if anyone would respond at all.

"So when do you think our food will be ready?"

Evelyn yawned, and plopped down in a chair. "I've never really liked church... I hate staying still." Her left foot started tapping on the ground, seconds after she sat down. "I've got nothing against it, I just need to move."

After a moment of thought, she grins. "I'm hungry, I'm gonna make us dinner! Whadda you guys want?" She leaped out of her chair, and started bouncing towards where she thought the kitchen might be. Before leaving the room, she waited for the others to answer.

James chuckled at Evelyn.

"How do you think we feel, stuck up there the whole time? At least you get to duck out to take a call, or run to the restroom; don't ever try to hold mass when you've got a stomach virus, talk about a test of will...

"As for food, anything but fish and loaves of bread are fine with me."

Elliot gave a more silent snicker as he listened to the exchange of church between Evil and Father James. Though the sound of dinner did sound pleasing. Though now that Elliot thought about it, there was a distinct lack of servants and cooks wasn't there? Well, Elliot gave a shrug as he looked over to Father James and commented

"I agree with the father, no bread or fish...though I would love some wine. Wouldn't you all agree?"

Elliot gave way, and followed Evil out of the area, though he knew, she knew nothing of where the kitchen was, he was still willing to follow, and would even pick up a bottle of win along their little "adventure" through the manor. Elliot was serious about getting some wine.

He chuckled, and got up out of his chair to follow the other two.

"To the kitchen!" She laughingly said, bouncing down a hall. "So I'm thinking burgers, if they have ground beef."

Ellito gave a shrug and shook his head when Eve asked if there was any ground beef around. Elliot had a smirk on his face as he spoke

"Well, I'm more than certain that a Mansion like this should at least have some type of grounded beef somewhere."

Elliot slowly walked down the halls of the manor as he only now noticed how quiet it was in the first place. Elliot wondered if it had anything to do with their money situation, and if the money problems affected how many servants, or whatever it may be, should be allowed here. Elliot ignored it for the time being and walked behind Eve, looking behind to see if the priest was still following them.

Father James was indeed behind the couple, keeping pace with them as the trio seemed to run around blindly looking for the kitchen.

"I suppose this is the part where I'm supposed to say 'in my Father's mansion there are many rooms', but I try to stay away from stereotypes. What I want to know is, if someone is going to have a place as big as this, where are the floods of servants needed to keep it running? Come to think of it, I haven't seen anyone but the three of us for a while now; does that seem odd to anyone else, or just me?"

Elliot gives a heavy sigh and a shake of the head to see that following Eve was just going to end in disaster. Though it was slightly amusing to see her try and fail indeed. Elliot listened with a smug smile at Eve's complaint bout the mansion being so big. Though, what the Father said was true...but Elliot already thought that through. That was until the part where he said that it was only them three for a while was more than true enough. It was...truly baffaling, especially since Elliot specifically remembered there being a tutor of some kind earlier, and a gardener that he met when he first got here. Elliot put his hand upon his chin, as he thought for a moment and responded

"Well, this mansion has been in a state of financial crisis for quite some time now. In fact, that was why I was contacted. I was asked to deal with their 'situation' before they ended up farther up the creak. So, it's not surprising that they would have to let go quite a few of there staff. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if the other rooms would seem barren as well. Some of it would be deemed Liquid Assets, and they would have sent it off to deal with their situation."

Elliot gave an innocent shrug at the situation. In the end, all he was here to do, is tell them what to do and what to sell so they don't end up in some gutter. Elliot looked around to see if there was some kind of direction to the kicthen or at the least, a dining area. Looking back at both James and Eve, Elliot spoke

"Well, it's not like we're going to find anything here, right? So let's move on, even if we don't find the kitchen soon, we'd at least get a crash course of the mansion itself. Which is good in its own right, right?"

"As long as we don't LITERALLY crash into anything, I'm happy." She giggled, not really paying attention to what they were talking about.
"Hey, I've got an idea! I remember a friend once told me 'When in doubt, run in circles, scream and shout.' That might work!" She laughed, not in the least bit serious.

"Since you said many of the rooms might be empty, a crash course wouldn't do us any good would it? We'd just find a bunch of empty rooms, possibly dusty, and without a map of the house or any distinguishing furniture we'd never know what their original intent was anyway. Actually, if they're in such dire straights, how do we know there's even any food here?"

Elliot gave a small chuckle at Evie's comment on running in circles. It was mostly funny because he would actually believe that Evie might actually try and do exactly that, though what the priest said also held some truth to it, as the rooms would be mostly empty. Elliot gave a shrug as he spoke in response to the priest

"Well, it would be good to have a crash course still, because empty rooms are still rooms and to ensure we don't get lost, it would be good to find the 'actual' rooms right? As for the food...do you really think that people would focus on personal luxuries instead of food? *Chuckle* Well no need to worry on that, while they may be in a bit of money troubles, at the moment they do indeed have enough money to supply themselves and whoever lives here with food."

Elliot looked down the hall and spoke out

"Well, we certainly won't find the kitchen standing here right? Let's move on then."

Eve giggled, and bounced down the hall. Running ahead of them all, she paused. Turning around, she whined.
"Hurry uuuuuuup. You're slow!"
Tapping a foot impatiently, she glared back at them. Unable to keep serious, she grinned.
"Hey, I'll race you to the end of the hall..."
