Re: 6. The Carnival
"That monkey moved, as we do more, it moves more" She gathers some rags or just rips a piece of the tent out and then puts pieces on both clappers, trying it on. she makes sure she has long pieces so she can tie it around the clappers.

Re: 6. The Carnival
Sam nods at Sorcha.  "Gladly."  As an archaeologist, human remains are rather sacred to Sam.  To see them on display like this in a twisted parody of everything that he's worked for his whole life is just anathema to him.

Re: 6. The Carnival
Fortunately, the monkey was close enough to the edge of the stage that Aleta could tie cloth around the cymbals without touching the stage.

Since everyone seemed to be in agreement, the pack started the very long and difficult task of burying the exhibits. Using the spear to get the skeletons off the stage, and claws and Crinos strength to dig a large hole, after several hours of work, the exhibits were buried.

Re: 6. The Carnival
Sorcha nodded satisfied at her work "And now we sing so that their spirits might hear." she shifted slowly into Crinos form, before howling to the wind. A long keening howl, speaking of loss and regret.

The grim task complete, Sam bow slightly to the mounds of fresh earth and murmurs quietly.  "There is no death, only a change of worlds.  Be at peace my friends"

Re: 6. The Carnival
The scent of popcorn wafted over to the hungry Garou. They weren't sure how long they had been here- it was still dusk- but it was long after dinnertime.

Still concerned with the monkey doll, which was almost as creepy as a clown, Aleta went back inside the tent one more time to check it out.

Re: 6. The Carnival
As her song came to an end, Sorcha slowly changed back to human form. It needed to do until they'd taught the others Garou tongue. "We've dealt with the carousel, the vendors and the curiosities. We need to deal with the food place next before we move on. Everyone agree?"

Breaks-the-Chain/lupus

She started heading over to the concession row, but suddenly stopped to paw at her nose. Quickly turning back into human form, Breaks told the others, "There's something wrong with the food. There's a smell that's bad."

"OK, I went in and took a look at the monkey and its symbols where closed, it tried to make some noise but the cloth stopped it. I swear the damn thing had a look of disappointment on its face. And that food is not smelling good"

(ooc- what we didn't bury the monkey too?)

Re: 6. The Carnival
Everyone headed to the Concession Row. There were only two stands working- one with popcorn and one for cotton candy. The popcorn was merrily popping in the old-fashioned machine. http://www.islandbreeze-rental..._w_cart(355x576).jpg

But when they looked closer, the popped yellow corn was actually spiders with yellow bodies and thick hairy legs. They overflowed the stand, flowing onto the ground.

The cotton candy was stood up in brightly colored rows of pink and yellow, but there was something shiny about them, some danger hidden within.

Muraco will give the cotton candy a little poke.  Does it feel a little firmer or denser than regular cotton candy?

Muraco cautiously poked the cotton candy. When he took his finger away, it was bleeding.

The spider made a satisfying crack when Breaks stepped on it. An instant later, the spiders on the ground started to swarm toward her.

"Uh oh" Sorcha moved forward to try to help Breaks the chain crush all of the spiders "What I wouldn't give for a molotov right now." she said as she stomped on the spiders.

Re: 6. The Carnival
As soon as Sorcha stepped on a spider, which also crunched quite satisfactorily, they began to swarm toward her as well. Breaks stepped on a couple, but several began to climb onto her shoes.

Right now, there was an extra large bag of movie popcorn's worth of spiders on the ground, but more were popping inside the machine and spilling out onto the ground.

Re: 6. The Carnival
Aleta tries to close the lid of opening on the popcorn machine so no more spiders get out. She also turns off the machine if she can.

Re: 6. The Carnival
Another handful of spiders got out of the machine before Aleta shut the cover. There didn't seem to be an "on" switch for the machine. Spiders continued to pile up inside.

The popcorn machine stopped popping, but the spiders within continued to shift and move as a mass.
