I have a bit more time on my hands this summer...so I am checking like 5 times a day most days, but when the school year starts up it will be back down to once a day.

Okay, I will wait til tomorrow, just to give Rasputin and Tiger Lily a chance.  Then I am posting no matter what, but they can still pose in.

Wheee, I have some house sitting coming up.  I'll have a dog for a bit of it, and she's adorable. :D  Also, it's finally feeling like Spring-almost-Summer now.

Hmm, you know, that is something that isn't in the gear lists, pets.

Well, we can abstract it, call it a small, extra cost in your monthly living expenses.

Depending on the pet, it might qualify for the Dependent quality, as taking care of a dog would be more painstaking than a goldfish, for example?

Excellent plot device though, just look at John Wick!

Re: OOC Thread #2
They are not ? They are not !

But Howling Shadows (p.45) will tell you how much more expensive a genetically enhanced pet is compared to a regular one. Which, if you don't know expensive it is, isn't much help.

I guess you can go back to SR4 and Running Wild, and lift their price table, monthly upkeep cost, and minimum lifestyle. Although I'd really like to know what kind of pampered dog they were thinking of when they required a middle lifestyle to keep them.

It's likely one of the bigger dogs, I think.

Right, because I've never seen a homeless man with a dog *sarcasm*. Ok, I can see where if you're a corporate drone, married to a corporate droness, and you're leaving the dog on its own for 16 hours each day, then you'd better have a large house, preferably with a garden.

In reply to Catchy (msg # 367):

Well, would you rather have a pomeranian or a great dane while living in a very small apartment? :P  The larger the dog, the more space you need, and the more upkeep the dog requires.  Not to mention higher costs of keeping the dog, bigger dogs have more expensive health issues, usually.  Also, larger dogs require more exercise.  You wanna go dog walking in downtown Seattle, or the Barrens?  I know where I'd chose. :P

Re: OOC Thread #2
If you have a big enough dog walking it in the Barrens shouldn't be that big of a deal....lol.

We need some 'dowg' drones ;-)

Maybe that will be my next character, a Rigger who uses drones that look like animals....or maybe like old G1 Transformers like Buzzsaw and Ravage.

I actually have a doberman with a mounted SMG if we need it, I figured since the other rigger had to leave us I should have something.

Okay, next bit is up!  It's a bit rambly, so let me know if you want something described more clearly/in-depth.  Also let me know if you wish to roll appropriate skills.  The Orks are kind of obviously gangers, so if you have any gang skills that might be appropriate, you might want to roll.  The bar itself is famous.  It is Cheers.  "B" is the upstairs part.

I am pretty sure there are bio-drones in one of the sourcebooks somewhere.

<OOC: Anyone with Gaelic or Irish Gaelic languages can give me a roll.>

As Languages can be defaulted, I figured it was worth mentioning, as everyone will be able to roll for it. Can't say if they will succeed, but handy to know. The same for Knowledges too.
