It used to be easier back when you could get a cool million nuyen in character gen.

Besides, I am pretty sure my car is the single most expensive piece of gear I have. And I do have a connection to buy drones, just don't have the money to do so right now....lol.
Good grief, so excited about the game starting again and no one is chatting now. lol

Oh plahlease, they wash it first. Sometimes they even throw in some detergent to break up the onion juice scum at the bottom of the sink.

Painted Man, if you want to swap spots with me and build a "muscle" character, that might be fun?

Sleight: Full Mage-Shaman (High Charisma)
Iris: Vehicle Rigger
Catchy: Mystic Adept of Thievery and no combat abilities?
Bean: Street Sam or Face
Keys: Awakened something or another
Tiger Lily: Street Same with foot speed.
Let me know anything you want to add or subtract or just repost it with what you want.

Lorex, if you want to play a rigger you can too. Iris is specifically devoted to Ground Vehicles.

player, 40 posts Elvin Shaman Wed 29 May 2019 at 04:21 | Re: OOC Thread #2Rigging is IMO one of the simpler character types once you have a handle on it. You could be a drone expert with a supped up car. Heck one time I played a rigger with a full Semi-truck with trailer. Another rigger had a car and drones that could be launched from the truck and two deckers and one full mage rounded out the team. Crazy times were had by all and nobody could track down the deckers in their mobile satellite up-linked tank armored trailer.

But we appear to need matrix support of one variety or another, and I'm happy to do that if desired.

player, 31 posts Nocturna thief Follower of Cat Wed 29 May 2019 at 08:43 | Re: OOC Thread #2Don't forget that pretty much everything is wireless enabled in 2070: hacking a bad guy's gun to eject the magazine is a perfectly valid tactic, and a good reason for a decker/technomancer to come on mission with the team and do stuff in the real world instead of lying on a couch wired to life support :)
Sleight: | Catchy: Mystic Adept of Thievery and no combat abilities? |
Well, Catchy is actually excellent at unarmed combat, but that's not going to do much of anything to any decently armored street samurai (it's not like her strength is anything to brag about). She has plenty of nuisance spells, but no actual combat spells. She won't touch guns. For what it's worth her defenses are excellent, and she would actually be quite good at throwing grenades, if she had any ... :) Oh, and she follows Cat, so even if she could take down a bad guy she won't unless she's bleeding.
She's a mystic adept with superb agility and excellent reflexes, it wouldn't take much for her to become a dangerous katana wielder, or a superb marksm... markscatw... markscatelf, or a combat mage, or even a grenadier, she just isn't any of those things... yet.

I’ve been thinking on how to alter him some, but it seems I’m quite attached to this build.
You can list Keys as another ‘Fully Awakened Astral and Magical specialist’.
Also ‘High Charisma’ with good social skills.
N/PC’s might be left with the impression of a Corporate Trained wage-mage, laying low in the shadows.
