actual questions I would like answered by anyone wishing to join
Exile Sons. Please give more than yes or no answers, where possible.
- Have you participated in a game of King Arthur Pendragon prior to Exile Sons? If yes, was it part of a long-term campaign or a one-shot adventure?
- What is the most recent edition of, or supplement for, King Arthur Pendragon with which you are familiar? (E.g. fifth edition, Book Of The Warlord, etc.)
- Are you familiar with Malory's Le Morte D'Arthur or any other of the medieval Arthurian romances? (E.g. the Vulgate Lancelot, Eschenbach's Parzifal, etc.)
- Are you familiar with any of the many modern literary retellings? (E.g. White's Once And Future King, Stewart's Merlin Trilogy, Bradley's Avalon Series, etc.)
- Are you familiar with any of the many cinematic depictions? (E.g. Boorman's Excalibur, Gilliam's Monty Python And The Holy Grail, Lerner and Loewe's Camelot, etc.)
- Name your two favorite characters from Arthurian canon. Why do those characters hold that place in your heart? What about your two least favorite characters?
- Summarize your overall experience with roleplaying games (tabletop or live-action), and provide a capsule history of yourself so I have some idea of your personality.
