The Narrative, as it is now.
Seven years ago the Headmasters of Naucra Academy and the leaderships of the five lands in attendance agreed to a grand tournament to decide various political, property, trade, and law disagreements. It is meant to be a non-lethal pseudo-military exercise decided by champions trained within only the last seven years to exclude legendary veterans and military powerhouses.. You ave been granted one of the five-hundred and twelve spots in this tournament either through a kingdom, tribe, organization, or careful maneuvering of your own or some interested private party.

You know a little about the tournament so far, if not also what you are fighting for in particular: There will be two consecutive four-way elimination matches in which only the last conscious participant will continue. These preliminary matches will take lace on the same day, but there will be time for spell-casters to rest their minds in-between. Each day after, one round of the tournament will commence for five days. The securities involved are: The great non-lethal barrier erected by every paid mage in the five lands, it is a great collaboration of arcane and divine magic and has been tested to extremes in front of the assembled participants. Negative levels, ability drain, massive damage, powerful spells.. all fall short of killing the intended targets, but just barely. The greatest mages in charge call it a combination of stasis and healing, depending on the severity and nature of the damage.

There are four more days until the preliminary rounds begin, plenty of time to warm up, mingle, or relax.

The Narrative, as it is now.
The game shall begin with a fresh story thread on Sunday, 4-3-2016, at 23:59 Central Time. Responses to each weeks post are due by the following Saturday at the same time, this grants a 24-hour window for the Game Master and myself to make this grand clock tick. Rolling enemy rolls, deciding placements and actions, rolling background items for players, and updating maps can be time-consuming.

A character without a post on a given week will follow its last directions on the first week, make mistakes on the second week, and either die or leave on the third missed week. The only exception to this is expected absence such as vacation (I still do this on vacation, I don't see the problem) or some other major issue.
