Re: 0. MAIN GAME THREAD
After much consideration the other players have indicated that they are NOT going to play a dark card on you!

Caprice discards these cards:

"You could've saved him, you scum!" (Green Plot) (3)
Fight: Play when Floyd enters a seedy location while Father Michael is dead.
Light: Floyd loses 2 time and discards one tech card from play
Dark: Floyd loses 2 time and moves to the NYPD (I3)

"I miss you, Father Michael" (Green Plot) (3)
Play when Floyd enters a location while Father Michael is dead. Floyd immediately moves to the Church of St. Therase (K3) and gains one disdain and one cowardice.

Plus one of each favour and uses two time to place a mark on Mark Henry. As he now has three marks on him he is illuminated from the game!

That finishes Caprice's turn. Rachel, time for your last turn!

Play
"The target stole some high-end hardware."

Discard "Well, you'll never need coffee again." and
"Just think about what you're doing, Rachel." to cover the shift.

Gain a good baggage for playing a Bounty card.

Choose DARK tactics to draw a conspiracy tile.

Give Caprice a bad baggage from the conspiracy tile.

I'm on my phone, so please let me know if I missed anything.

Okay, all processed. I'm not going to post the conspiracy piece since there are no valid locations to place it, but it is one that allows you to move a document lead if you want to?

Floyd, please hold while Rachel does this.

Yes, Earthrise Hotel is just in range of Spaceport Kaguya for Floyd. Evidence pieces pasted in your private thread, where do you want them?

You technically draw a light card when entering by you don't have time to play it.

Re: 0. MAIN GAME THREAD
Oh, plot resolutions first.

Floyd has six good baggage and one bad baggage. He realises that he had the foundation for humanity inside himself all along. (Happy-happy ending +7 VP)

Caprice's plot resolution is based on her sanity level which is 0, meaning she gets the wishy-washy "We haven't come to a decision yet." ending. (medium ending +1 VP)NB: This technically still counts as a happy ending.

Rachel has five good baggage and one bad. She takes the young urchin boy Oliver under her wing. (Happy-happy ending +7 VP)

The Media - happy endings are an additional +1 VP

PLOTS
            Floyd
            Property of Hass     +7  +1  +8

Re: 0. MAIN GAME THREAD
YES THANK YOU FOR MODERATING!  that was a huge job!

surprised about the win - really it came down to the hit on Mark that took him out, so not sure i can take any credit.  I really had no concept about who was winning the game throughout the whole thing.

Glad to have finally gotten this played!!!

Re: 0. MAIN GAME THREAD
Thank you for moderating! It turned out to be a huge job, and honestly took a little longer than I expected when we started.

I thought that I was in pretty good shape until Mark Henry was taken out. Even then, I thought that I had done a better job on passing Noise's innocence than I did. Those two things really swing the game away from me.

Good job on the big win, Mike!

Re: 0. MAIN GAME THREAD
First of all, let me say a big thank you to the three of you for playing. What were the odds of getting four random guys together and having them get through six months of gaming together online? Very low I think, so thank you to all of you for your dedication.

I would also like to say how much I enjoyed the fan fiction - that was a real highlight.

But there is something I have to get off my chest. This game sucked. It sucked so bad that I would barely classify it as a game, since there was no place for strategy - remember that I could see all of your cards, so that is not a comment easily refuted - there was no place for planning. Boring, random, rule heavy and just dull. I would rather have read a book of Chris' fan fiction than play this. :D

Feel free to try and convince me otherwise. I have opened up all the threads so you can read them if you want.

Re: 0. MAIN GAME THREAD
It definitely would benefit from some streamlining; it is VERY rules-heavy, and weirdly paced. As far as strategy... well, that's in the eye of the beholder, to some extent.

I knew pretty early on once evidence started accumulating that taking out Mark Henry was a priority for me (Carl removing the hit marker caused me no end of anguish). In doing so, I put off going to the Moon probably longer than I should have, too - I wasted too much time chasing Conspiracy and other evidence that wasn't going to help me nail Vinnie (thanks a pantload, Yellow Document Lead #2).

I will say that I think a simple change such as drawing two twilight cards and then choosing one each time you draw would add in some much needed agency. As it is, you're pretty much at the mercy of the card draw, and if you get (for instance) six hundred Floyd dark cards that say "If Father Mike Is Dead..." and never get a chance to actually kill Father Mike, then you might as well not have any dark cards at all. Because dark cards are the primary way that the player interaction happens, I think more control over those would go a long way.

Re: 0. MAIN GAME THREAD
Oh yeah! "Play when Father Michael is dead..." You weren't the only one who ended up accumulating those cards. And the crazy thing is that Floyd actually gets to CHOOSE if he takes that branch in his plot so it is really unlikely to happen.

I like the 'draw two and choose one' option. My goodness, that might actually allow a strategic choice to be made.

So here is the big question, are you changing your BGG rank of this game after our experiences here? I am dropping it from a four to a three. :/
