Re: (IC) The Quest Begins!
"GET OFF MY FRIEND YOU VILE BEAST"
Jemimwitt screamed with surprising volume given his size, readied his lance, and began a charge.
Muffins, charging at full tilt, ceased to be quite as adorable as you'd initially take him for. He was also fast. Ridiculously fast, in fact: faster than most horses, in fact, and Jemimwitt lowered himself and prepared for a hell of an impact as he charged the dire bear.
It might not be a dragon or intelligent, but this bear would be a worthy foe at least.
(OOC: Swift challenge, move draw lance, standard action charge with lance
+2 morale to hit due to challenge bonus, +4 to hit due to charge (cavalier)
10:10, Today: Jemimwitt Haethy rolled 17 using 1d20+15 ((2)).
Ah well, dice gotta dice sometimes.)
Unfortunnately, the lance went a little wide as the beast moved at the last second, glancing off the thing's absurdly tough hide.
