Ghost in the Machine:
So while I'm on a posting jag. I'm really happy the way things are going so far. I know the game itself has only just started, but we seem to have a very active and involved group.

Now in the spirit of optimism let's discuss XP and character growth. This can be difficult in online games. Since most games are designed to award XP each gaming session and in an online game that doesn't happen.

I have several thoughts on how to award XP and such, but for now, in an effort to encourage participation and keep the posting rate up I have decided that I will award 15 PP and bump everyone up to PL 9 once we hit 1000 posts. I am aware that this can be gamed. Peaople can simply post 20 times a day, but that isn't really in the spirit of what we are hoping to accomplish here. Also this is a one time award. After this XP and character growth will be handled in a different manner.

Thank you everyone.

POST NUMBER ONE THOUSAND!!!!!!!!!!  :D

Re: Post Humanity OCC
Well not sure, Dan is tough I mean really tough.  He is an easy going guy and is a bit of a jock.  He does know his way a car and know a bit about technology.  He has an interest in electric cars seeing them as the future.  He also has a sister that he is worried about.  Mostly because he thinks that she might get target by the people who are after us.

So how would you character apply to Dan?

Re: Post Humanity OCC
I'm game too, Dan, but Ivan's powerset needs him to have a normal, non-powered person as a partner. The biggest chunk of his powers were designed to be bestowed on someone else, a demon serving a mortal master.

However, with real-life events drastically cutting my library and strangling my access to gaming materials I used as spell sources, I may be forced to re-write that portion of his character sheet from a variable power to a set batch of specific spells anyway, so.. hmm.

For those who might not remember (or weren't in group 2), Ivan's signature power is that he can feed people in a wide area around himself. To quote the demon prince of gluttony in one game book, "The world is starving. It must be fed." And so, this demon of gluttony has the gift to break famines, feed the needy and the homeless, or keep an all you can eat restaurant going 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Re: Post Humanity OCC
To give you guys a bit more idea on Dan.  Chances are he would eventually have shared this with everyone.  So you all should have a good feel about him and know his background by now.  So here is a brief snippit.

Background and general info:
Dan Markus was and easy going kind of guy.  During high school he played football and enjoyed working on cars.  Something that followed through to adult hood.  He moved to the big city and became a mechanic in a garage.  He slowly saving money so he can open his own garage. His sister is living with him going to the local university studying to be a doctor.  His parents had charged him on keeping an eye on her which at times she can be a hand full.  She was smart maybe to smart since she didn't need much time to study or prepare for tests so she spends allot of time clubbing.

One night he received a call from her asking to be picked up.  When she didn't come home right away.  He grabbed his coat and went out looking for her.  He found her stumbling out of the bar with a guy.  The guy looked sober and level heading to an ally.  Another guy was following.  By the time he got to the alley he noticed the one guy had his sister pinned to the ground and she was struggling.  The other guy was reaching for her dress.

Dan yelled out a warning as he came rushing down the alley.  He heard two shots and felt two light thumps in his stomach.  It didn't even register.  He closed the gap between him and the two guys.  The guy with the gun fired another shot point blank but Dan didn't even slow down.  He backed hand the guy causing him to go flying into the wall.  The other punch Dan but it was like hitting a steel wall.  Dan returned the hit and to Dan it felt like hitting a wet piece of paper and just manage to pulls his punch before putting his fist through the guy.

Dan didn't stop he grabbed his sister and left the ally quickly.  After getting home he was just stunned at just what happen.  His sister had lost conscious and the next morning she didn't even seem to remember what happen the night before.  Dan looked at the shirt he wore the night before and sure enough saw four holes in his mid section of the shirt.  He should have been dead yet he was fine.  Now he was left to wonder what to do next.

I'd just like for her to have some understanding of what's going on.

I still have to update her to PL9.

He died of complications from triple bypass surgery, Dan. He's survived by wife Tina, and two spawn Thing 1 and Thing 2 (I kid you not, but those are the names Tina uses for them on her blog).
