Towers Version 2

Attributes

Attributes represent the innate qualities of an individual. There are eight attributes:
  • Strength (STR): a measure of raw power and might.
  • Dexterity (DEX) : a measure of poise, coordination, and deftness.
  • Agility (AGI) : a measure of reflex and speed.
  • Endurance (END) : a measure of physical resilience.
  • Willpower (WIL) : a measure of mental resilience.
  • Perception (PER) : a measure of sensory awareness and acuity.
  • Spirit (SPR) : a measure of magical potency.

All Attributes begin at 25 and cap at 50.

Skills

Skills represent training, proficiency, and experience. There are 15 skills:

Skills are rated by 0 and 50. At character creation plays have 30 points of skills to assign, in sets of 5, to any skill(s) they desire. No one skill may have more than 15 points assigned.

Feats

Feats represent specialized actions which a character can perform or is skilled in. Feats are broadly divided into five categories: Magical, Martial, Physical, Professional, and Social. Additionally Feats have five levels: Basic, Intermediate, Advanced, and Superior. These levels, when appropriate, apply bonuses or inflict penalties to some action equal to +5/per level, max +20 at Superior. Alternatively they grant access to an ability or set of abilities, such as the Magical Feats which allow a character to cast different forms of magic.

At character creation each player possesses one Basic Feat of their choice.

Improvement

At the end of each Session players may increase one skill by 5 to a maximum of 50. At the end of each Arc players may increase one Attribute by 5 up to a maximum of 50 in addition to their normal skill increase. Feats are gained at the GM's discretion or when appropriate as dictated by in-game events.
