Sorry Rana, fell behind again at the outpost. Caught up now, I think...

That's okay!  Life happens, to paraphrase a common saying.  Just glad to see that you're back!

Re: OOC 3
Bear with me if I am extra grumpy at the moment.

I have a new phone, new provider and a new service provider  (the old phone and provider were misbehaving.  Lost all my contacts a number of times)  Now trying to configure all the android apps ...  (Don't suggest iPhones -  you have even less control over the way their phones handle personal data!)

It is Tax Returns time as well

To cap it all, Paypal suddenly got fussy about 2-factor authentication -  and that is taking much longer to manage than it ought to.  Just as I am thinking about buying Xmas presents online ....

Rum has formed a large part of my 'prepare for bed' routine recently.

Maybe it should become part of your ‘Prepare for the day’ routine as well.

Good luck. You’ll get it all sorted out in time. Technology just likes to remind us that it can be a curse as well as a blessing sometimes. So I just curse right along with it.

Oh, and speaking of British cursing, I highly recommend the Alex Verus audiobook series. I think the narrator sounds a bit like Michael Caine.

In reply to Cass Mordane (msg # 422):

I have started to prep for the next Campaign Round -  which starts in 4-5 weeks.

Your Income for the year is recorded in The Character Information II thread. If you want my thoughts on your plans -  or even some suggestions ...  PM me.

While I expect to be away for the couple of weeks after Xmas  (Covid willing) I want to start some Fuzzy Threads when I get back  :)

Anybody got any thoughts?  Remember that Fuzzy Threads must be risk free, so only take you to  safe places.  They are open to anyone, and must be available as a group activity :P -  and That I will only run two separate threads at the same time.

Sounds good! I can have Cyrus appear in one of the fuzzy threads so we can discuss in public or feel free to PM.

And now a bit more of Dwarves, as I start to document their position in  the game.

http://galinia.org.uk/dwarves-of-brevoy

As always, that is an overview and is open to modification, and extra detail, before it gets transferred to the game's website -  when it becomes much more  'fixed'.

Gandred, Hargrym, Valguard and Lutz are all mentioned in the text - their views are particularly welcome  :)

Nope.  I think your post  just got caught up in a cross-post and a series of PMs.  :)

I am sure Berta will insult you (as she does everyone)  later today  :)

This sounds like an epic adventure in the making!

I'm already imagining it as a published adventure path, with titles the likes of Dark Ale Destiny -  or Shrooms of Doom.   ;)

I guess my issue is that he spoke directly to them, and then they just kept talking as if he's not there. So either I have to assume in character they blatantly ignored him, or basically just pretend like he didn't say anything.

My last post in here  was, literally, as I closed my PC down on the way to bed - and that was (something like) going to work first thing in the morning time, for Berta :)  Your post, was a cross post with mine.  There was a PM in there that you couldn't see - and another PM in Berta's post.

I didn't see a red light on that thread, all the way through the evening, I didn't see Berta's post until your post here brought it to my attention.  Unfortunately, that is the way things go on RPoL every so often.

Re: OOC 3
A discussion, yesterday evening, highlighted that I had not brought the Leadership Feat in line with the Campaign Rules.

The new version of my House Ruled Leadership Feat is, in many ways, now an upgrade to the Entourage Feat  (that you all get as a Bonus feat)

In reply to ~Darius (msg # 436):

Apologies from the player who will confess he saw "NPC" (hah, I've got one too on mine, didn't realise !) and figured it was the GM (no, I didn't get as far as "Marik's advocate") giving us an option in relation to that PM discussion we were having behind the curtain - so your timing was either very good or very bad, depending on how you look at it.  <grins>

But anyone who knows Berta (as a character) will know that she'd not take kindly to interruptions when she's talking earnestly with her brothers, and naturally assumes all remarks about her appearance to be sarcasm.  ;>

Turning her attention to Darius right now ...

And I have been busy again.  Lockdown is both a blessing and a curse ...

This time I have modified the descriptions of Sword Schools  (Colleges & Academies)  to talk about the types of troop they can train.
