I think that (and Nobility) is the only check the group hasn't made yet.

I don't know Planes, but I'm learning about balloons. Is that close enough???

Better starting learning about the plane of air. Or else you'll be hitting the plane of ground fast :)

Sorry for falling behind, September kind of kicked my butt, and while I'm hoping October will be better, it's not starting out any less busy just yet!

Yes, very best wishes to Maple, Domitius, anyone else in any way effected by C19 --  while it touches some lightly, it is catastrophic for others, nothing to treat lightly.

I don't work directly in the medical field, but my job touches on it, as a medical recruiter.    I've heard many disturbing stories from different sorts of professionals, at this point.

And now there is another Country Living post in the Blog!

I love it when someone says something, or asks a question, that sends me off down a rabbit hole.

Re: OOC 3
Players who have been in the game for a while, will know that I normally host my wife's birthday dungeon at this time of year.  A whole weekend of old-skool tabletop that runs from Friday evening through to Sunday lunchtime.  Unfortunately, that won't be happening this year - Covid has interrupted a lot of things.

However, we are going to Blackpool, to see the illuminations, instead.  I leave Sunday and get back the following Saturday - but should have internet in the hotel - but I won't have  all of my reference material with me.  So, that week will be general updates with little detail.

I will get updates into each of the threads on either Friday or Saturday this week,

Feels like this last couple of weeks has been crazy for everyone. I damn near broke my foot while packing - dropped a box on it. Nothing broken, foot or packing wise but what a thing to happen.

In reply to Marceline (msg # 347):

That sounds like me! I dropped a 1 litre tin of paint at the hardware store on Saturday. Instinctively stuck my foot under it to save it. Damn lucky the rounded side of the tin hit my foot instead of the rim. Same result - nothing broken - foot or tin. Talk about dumb luck.

In reply to Andalon de Lebeda (msg # 349):

The 'catching things with your foot' reflex is the best and worst thing, but at least we can do the sore-foot shuffle. Dumb luck is sometimes the best luck.

Re: OOC 3
I have the exact opposite reflex. Anything drops within about a metre of me, I'm jumping back and letting it smash.

I don't know what that says about me...

Maple! take care of yourself please! I hope you're feeling better.

Re: OOC 3
Oh, my first instinct is feet first too.  Luckily my reactions have slowed with age, as I've dropped a couple of kitchen knives recently ...

So no injuries to report here and much sympathy for those who did get a foot in harms way - and glad you survived relatively unscathed !  :>

Also belated sympathies and good wishes extended to those hit with COVID.  Hang in there !  And if you're up to it, online gaming has isolation covered !
