No.  Just individual light troop types :(  Heavier troops are all veterans, or advanced characters of some type, and cost extra BP to employ.

So Marines and Chasseurs would work -  or  private guards and scouts  etc.

That said, your Sell Swords can go into any area and finish their specialist training 'on the job'  :)

Every School, College or Academy turns out Sell Swords - that is just a name I am using for minimally trained L3 warriors who leave to go and complete their training in the job.  It means that there are always 'troops' available (even when there isn't a school training for that specific profession)

• A school can turn out one more type -  Sell Swords and City Guards (perhaps)
• Upgrade to a college could give you -  Sell Swords, City Guards and Marines
• Upgrade to an Academy and you might choose to train - Sell Swords, City Guards, Marines and Private Guards

In response to a comment by Cass I have 'tweaked' the civic buildings list, to give a wider spread of developments and (perhaps) make balancing easier.


NEW - Well (stab+1)
NEW - Office of Public Works (Stab+2)

Change - Dump now  stab+1 (no longer  Loy+1)
Change - Orphanage now Loy+2, Stab+1 (no longer  Loy+2, Stab+2)

Tusk and Ringbridge are affected by the Orphanage changes.  I will credit you both with 0.5bp and update your public spreadsheets)

Assuming that she doesn't have Reach or Step Up -  you should be safe to cast if you take a 5ft step away from her.

If you move more than 5' and try to take an action (such as casting) she will get an Attack of Opportunity.  If you  make a full withdraw  (no other action)  you will be safe from an AoO.

Thinking of taking a 5 foot step and CLW myself. Hoping she doesn't run though!

Yeah I'd say Colour Spray has got me out of more jams than Grease

Color Spray is an arcane workhorse and anybody that can take it, should.

9 pts from a dagger is doable with finesse training or Slashing Grace and a high Dexterity.
