Fuzzy:  Duelling Challenge

Lord Henry would like to announce the Southern Duelling Challenge, and is offering a prize of 2000gp credit with Rikka the Smith, for the winner.

Duels will take place under the Challenge Duel rules, on this page http://rp.baileymail.net/doku....inder:rules:duelling, although the requirement to lodge a 3000gp bond is suspended.
  • Use this thread to arrange participants and umpires.
  • Use the Duelling Salon Thread for spectators and general conversation.  link to a message in this game
  • Use a Duelling Table thread for the duel – BUT not until the combatants and Duellists have been agreed.

If you do not have a suitable duelling character, but wish to take part, I have some NPCs who are available to duel.

How does one determine who is the final victor?  Individual duels are easy enough but once you have fought what determines your next opponent?

If we have enough participants, well set up a knock out competition.  If not, we'll use a Round-Robin format.

Although I am open to other suggestions.

Are we allowed to be Healed in between rounds? Or is it self-medication only?

You start each bout on full HP.  A bout is one 'last one standing' round.

Can Cyrus choose a short sword and a buckler or does he have to use a Rapier and a buckler? It’s not a huge deal but he’s a long sword and board specialist and that seems to be the closest approximation of his skills...

Oh and I am happy to Umpire any duels I am not fighting in if that helps move things along :)
