"I have fought him, he hits like a giant and can take a blow.  As a man I have shared a drink with him and like him.  We both want to see Ringbridge grow." Dom replied as he slipped into a series of strikes towards Kendricks left side.

Kendrick was silent as he thrust his sword at Dom. It was a risky maneuver since Dom was in mid-swing and about to hit his ribs.

Domitius' speed with the blade proves the deciding factor. As Kendrick's blade heads for Domitius' midsection, Dom's blade disengages and he clops Kendrick across the temple with a solid blow, knocking the knight out. Adoven declares "Domitius wins!" before summoning the healers, who were getting a good workout themselves.

Kendrick found himself being helped up. He had a pained smile. "Domitius. You've proven yourself to be the better fighter." He steadied himself.

Once everyone has had a chance to recover, the next bout is announced.

Private messages to Dom?

Once the two men had taken position Dom Called out, "My Lords, lay on!"

Kendrick took his position. He waited with the buckler and dueling sword in hand.

Adoven, with rapier in one hand and dagger in the other, shifts his position to cast a personal spell.

Adoven stepped back and cast a spell completing it moments before Kendrick moved across the room and struck.

Adoven rallies with a quick combination of rapier and dagger, both achieving hits.

Kendrick tried to beat back the attacks from Adoven to no avail. Instead he swung the dueling sword and smacked Adoven hard.

Adoven struck twice Kendrick almost turning the rapier aside but to no avail.  Kendrick lands a solid hit upon his opponrnt the power in his blow pushing aside Adoven's defenses.

Kendrick normally demonstrated good footwork in a fight. But in this case, his footwork was lacking.

Adoven was slow to respond to Kendrick's attack, no doubt the long term effects of the exhausting day. But he found the energy to continue to press his attack, weaving his blades in and out of Kendrick's defenses to strike again and again.

Adoven seemed to have the advantage when it came to speed, his two swift strikes find their way past Kendricks defenses. Adoven turns Kendrick blows away.

Adoven dodges and weaves, finding fresh strength. His dagger crosses to deflect Kendrick's blade, then disengages to score a light hit. But this merely set up a devastating thrust with the rapier that snaked under Kendrick's arm to strike a solid blow to the warrior's chest.

Kendrick slapped the rapier away only to find himself facing two blades seeking his throat. He brought up his sword and delivered a heavy blow to Adoven's side.

Adoven's strikes are swift and a devastating strike with the rapier evades Kendricks defenses, Kendrick's return blow is almost as damaging.

Kendrick was bloodied and bruised. But he brought up the sword and struck.

With grim determination, Adoven presses the attack.

Adoven moving fast struck with the rapier then before his dagger struck Kendrick began to fall, unconscious. Domitius called the healers in to assist the fallen and proclaimed Adoven the victor.
