It isn’t all that long before you are called into The Southern Chapter HQ for a meeting with Lord Henry.

"I would like start by thanking you for the work that you have done recently.  Those Worgs would have played havoc with the new settlement that Tusk has built on that side of the river, and task council have asked that I pass each of you a small ‘bonus’ for your work there.”  He stops and motions to Brother Bart who passes out small leather bags that contain coins.  “And as for the nest of Kobolds, they would have been a great risk to everyone travelling in that area, and now Zelona is established in Old Keep, that would be many more of our people put at risk.  In your case Mother Beatrix, has put forward a bonus, for helping send those undead monstrosities to their proper fate.”  Again Brother Bart hands out bags of coins to the rest of the assembled group.

“However, as always, there are more threats to the security of the region, that need investigating.  I am reliably informed that there is a colony of Lizardfolk down by Candlemere, who will obviously need investigating before Adoven and Vik can colonise Candlemere Island.  So Vik, I would like you to take that task on, accompanied by Maple, Minia, Rana and Socha.  I have asked Tayana to come along as my representative.  You will, of course, have use of the folding boat, Helga and her crew.  A peaceable arrangement would be best, but if force is required, so be it.”

After a short pause for a sip of water, Henry continues.  “Dom, I would like you to take Safiya, Kiera, Marceline and Vova east to the Tors.  I am told there is a dragon nesting atop a mountain spire.  We don’t know all that much about it, but it has been taking livestock and it must be killed or driven away.”

He looks around at the group as a whole, “You have a few days to prepare yourselves …”

Rana smiled at Tatyana.  It had been too long since she had last seen her original travelling companion.

Once Lord Henry had handed out the next assignments, Rana went over to Tatyana and hugged the other woman.  "It is good to see you again, Tatyana.  I had hoped we would travel together again."  She glanced briefly at Lord Henry, still somewhat in awe and afraid of the man before returning her attention to the attractive half-orc.  "Has Lord Henry told you any more of these Lizardfolk?  Or have you heard anything else about them?"  She lowered her voice to a whisper,

"Hello Rana.  Good to see you again.  I am afraid, I don't know  much about Lizardfolk than at all.  Just that they live in marshy boggy areas, and we should probably make sure that we have good boots.  I'm not a very good swimmer, either.  The tarns were always too cold for me to want to splash about in them."
