The free town of Wyvern Bridge

"Cyrus we wish to inform you that House Solanus will be transferring the mercenary barracks in Mound to House M'Taro.  Lady El'indre has agreed to take over the barracks and the troops based there."

Lady Valoria, speaking on behalf of Ringbridge, responds to Dom's comment with a smile.  "House M'Taro are well known to us in Ringbridge, El'indre and her husband already have a home and business here.  While we will miss your presence in the town, I understand that you must concentrate your resources in Sunsmarch.  El'indre, however, is a welcome substitute."

Then, turning to Lady Safiya, she continues, "While we built a school in Whiterun last year, Three Ladies Schools would be pleased to build a new school in Feyfalls.  With your permission, of course."

Nadya Lebeda walks into the meeting, with a folded document in her hand.  Once she has taken a seat, she checks through the paper again, nodding slowly.

"House Lebeda would like to develop our holdings here at Wyvern Bridge, to facilitate our trade across the Southern Region.  We would like to build a shop and a local market in Riverside, along with a Shipping Office, Warehouse and Cross Shipping Office, as well as build the Jetty up to be a Wharf, which will allow us to base some of our larger vessels here, rather than rely on Shallops which are better suited to the New Stetven, Silverhall route.

We recognize that this will cause significant disruption to Wyvern Bridge so we are prepared to offer a generous donation to the Wyvern Bridge administration of offset that."

Safiya nods politely to Lady Valoria. "I see no reason not to build another school."

Another merchant addresses the development board. "V&A are building a string of Copper Schools throughout the land to give those of humble origins a chance to better themselves, just as Lord Adoven has. We propose to place one such school in Wyvern's Bridge."

Mia, with her long experience of helping run the leMaistre estates, speaks on behalf of the town.  "Tobias, I am pleased to hear of V&A's philanthropic plans.  I helped Lady Bai with some of the Three Ladies work, when I was at Newgate, and I am always pleased to see that, and similar projects, succeed.  WE shall, of course, find space for your school."

Then she turns to the House Lebeda proposals, "Nadya, Lord Henry anticipated your request, and we are happy for you to build up your holdings in Riverside.  While we understand the need to berth larger vessels here, and that you wish to replace the shallops with larger vessels, we would ask that you delay expanding you fleet here in Wyvern Bridge, until we have better social infrastructure in place.

We are only just coming to grips with the last influx of sailors and teamsters, and until the town grows a little more, I don't think that we can cope with any more, for the moment.  Perhaps next year ..."

Nadya nods,  accepting of Mia's request to delay an extra vessels for a while.
