Re: OOC

For the record, the Stag Lord's Bow is up for grabs (though I think Group 1 gets priority for the time being). It is a +1 Comp Long Bow with a Strength Rating of +2. My old bow is a Str +3 Comp Longbow, so I would get a bonus to hit but the damage would stay the same for me.

Vik, can you use this bow? Aris'ta?

I am so excited that we have reached this milestone and am looking forward to what comes next for our groups!

Keep up the good work Group 2 or 3 or whatever number you are. Kill those mites!

What really hurts is that I have a bunch of healing available, but am the one unconscious.

It's always an imperative to keep the healer out of harm's way!

I have faith in your group. They'll get you back on your feet in a flash.

Just be thankful you didn't fall into a pit, twice :)

Yes I can use that bow, that's my Strength bonus. But I'd wait to see what Aris'ta says before agreeing to take it as she's the archer. It would be put to extremely good use though with me!

You'll be fine. We'll get you out of this mess. And then we can buy some potions just in case we don't protect you again :)

In reply to Lex (msg # 166):

I may be a bit too much of a 3.5 player, but I've always felt every member of a party should be involved in their own healing, buying potions and scrolls (when necessary). The cleric has important non-healing things to deal with once they get out of the 1st level cradle.

There's wisdom there for sure Vik. But it's got to suck to be a cleric and be unconscious :( Sorry Jicca.

Re: OOC

I have moved  Cyrus's table into the loot thread, which should allow for better discussion.

Thank you Cyrus.  However, was it only two pits?  I must be slacking ....

Jicca - Sorry  :(  There are actually three sources of healing in your party - Mariam was really unlucky with her dice rolls or you would be up and on your feet already.  I have moved the thread on and hopefully Cass will have better luck with his dice rolls :

Re: OOC

It may have been three pits :( But that just seems absurd... I'm going to pretend it was just two.

Also, loving the jokes this morning! Pipre, that was solid. Andalon, I almost spit my coffee!

Re: OOC

Didn't the DM say that Cass could heal you too? If that's true, let's let him do that.

Yep, that was who I was thinking. If he doesn't post by tomorrow, I'll go ahead and use the scroll. Just wanted to give him a chance to show off his mad magic skills.

Re: OOC

Guys -  just to keep you all in the picture ...

I have advertised for new players for Adoven, Borric and Big Job as L2 characters.  At the moment the advert is just in games that I play in, but offer is also available to friends & Colleagues of yours - before I go to players wanted.

Once we have completed this section - including the wedding and the trip to Restov - I intend to rework you into three new groups.  One will explore the hills, one the forest and one will be water based :)    Each party will have a mixture of L4, L3 and L2 characters.

In reply to Cyrus Ondari (msg # 180):

I have someone interested in Adoven - we have had the initial discussion and I am just waiting for a final decision from the player.  As you may have seen, I have asked new players to respect a few things from each character's history  :)

Some elements of re-allocation are fairly straightforward.

  • Hills will probably be Paladins, Cavaliers and other horsey/heavily armoured types.
  • Forests = Rangers, Druids etc ....
  • Water -  hello Vik :)  and lightly armoured people  ....
