Fuzzy: The Dragon's Den
As more and more people come into the newly opened bar, Wyn changes from flute to performance poetry. Turning away from the room for a moment or two to compose himself, he turns back looking a little wilder and more unkempt, then launches into a poem ...
Three wheels on my wagon
And I'm still rolling along
The Goblinski are chasing me
Arrows fly
Right on by
But I’m heading for Henry’s land.
I'm shouting - higgity, haggity, hoggety, high
Pioneers, they never say die
A mile up the road there's a hidden cave
And we can watch those Goblins go
barrelling by
Two wheels on my wagon
And I'm still rolling along
Them Goblinski are after me
Flaming spears
Burn my ears
But I’m heading for Henry’s land
I'm shouting - higgity, haggity hoggety, high
Pioneers, they never say die
Half a mile up the road there's a hidden cave
And we can watch those Goblins go
barrelling by
One wheel on my wagon
And I'm still rolling along
Them Goblinski after me
I'm all in flames
At the reins
But I’m heading for Henry’s land
I'm shouting - higgity, haggity hoggety, high
Pioneers, they never say die
Right around that turn there's a hidden cave
And we can watch those Goblins go
barrelling by
No wheels on my wagon
So I'm not rolling along
The cavalry rescued me
Things looked bad
I’m so glad
That I’m heading for Henry’s land
C'mon all you pioneers, shout along with me!
Higgity, haggity hoggety, high
Pioneers, they never say die
Higgity, haggity hoggety, high
Pioneers, they never say die
Higgity, haggity hoggety, high
before grining and allow his normal urbane look to slide back into view.
"Anyone else want to give us a turn?" he asks.
