Re: OOC2

OK -  I think I have done something with all the development  plans that I am aware of.  I am probably going to fetch the development threads to a close next weekend. -  then publish new maps, spreadheets, descriptions etc.

Re: OOC2

Very Pleasant  :) yesterday, I was too hot in a long sleeved shirt making my way to the airport.  Today, I am bundled up in extra layers of clothing and feeling the cold.

It was Tenerife this year -  which we decided is a bit more tourist-y than we like.  We will probably go back to Gran Canaria next year - the attractions & trips out work better for us - and the Capital City has a nice mix of Museums (etc) Nice restaurants and things to do -  without being given over completely to the tourist trade.

GM:
Please also note:
Every PC and NPC that you run ages one year.

Ack! I need to add age on my character sheets :)
Never needed one before... but I do now. Love it!

Re: OOC2

Cass will be using his performance skill to earn some coins for about 20 of those days. The other days can be considered catching up with others. Would you like separate rolls or one big fat roll?

And just for the sake of clarity, when we update our entourage characters a level, we are supposed to update our main characters a level as well, correct?

Re: OOC2

I don't mind how you make the rolls.  Whatever you prefer  :)

Entourage-assistants now go up during the Kingdom round -  and is no longer linked to character progression.

Re: OOC2

So entourage/assistants go up a level and are no longer limited to (main character's level/2)?

Ah.  I phrased that badly.  Entourage -assistants now go up (if they are eligible) during the kingdom round, rather than when the PC levels up

They are still restricted to 1/2  the PC level  and max out at L5.

Re: OOC2

And THIS is why fuzzy threads are a problem. The Kingdom Development turn is after the current adventures. If Adoven levels at the conclusion of their current mission, then both assistants can level during this Kingdom turn.....I just don't know if they can, as yet

Re: OOC2

Does it really matter all that much?  they are, after all, just intended to be a little bit of extra RP opportunity  :)

Having no Fuzzy Threads is even more of a problem -  as I can't manage the three groups into one game without them.

Re: OOC2

All right. Adoven has a large Boat Yard, which is a Masterwork Business. But that MW bonus is only applied to Crafts or Professions tied to boat-making?

Re: OOC2

Yes.  The MW element is tied to the skill that is key to the business.

When considering boatyards, I decided that all the larger vessels are actually built to MW standards - I (personally) wouldn't want to go racing down river on a vessel that wasn't of top quality manufacture  :)  Smaller row boats, skiffs etc don't need the same build quality.

RL Note:  You should see some of the plans that are available on the internet for building dinghies and skiffs out of light timber and plywood!  I have been almost tempted to try making one.  But I certainly wouldn't trust a larger vessel built in someone's garage using those techniques.

Thanks!

Granted, this is the result of me getting to stretch, and to really dive deeper into Kiera's mindset- I do kind of like to write, anyways, and I'm always open for ideas!

But yeah, compared to some of the other characters I've run, Kiera's, well... a lot of fun, but at the same time, there are reasons for why she does what she does.  But thanks again for the appreciation!

I have just uploaded a new map to group 0 - it shows things as I think they will be at the end of this Kindgom Rounds -  and assumes that groups 2 and 3 complete their tasks effectively and efficiently  :)

I have confidence in you guys.  I bet you will complete your tasks and that most of you will get home safe and sound ....  *Evil DM Grin*

Not really.  Has your friend tried refreshing the map?

New settlements include, Westgate, Eastgate, New Dawn,  & White run.  The borders have expanded to take in about a dozen new hexes.
