I should tell you, though... no matter how great your expertise in the field, we already have a leader.     Keep him in mice, and he's not too bad to work for.   Don't get him wet, either..

All three adventure threads are now up.  I decided to only make the threads visible to the players this time, in an attempt to reduce the  'silly season' effects that we got at the end of the last set of adventures, when the game was lighting up red for everyone, every few minutes or so (or so it seemed)

...this theme, sheesh.  I don't mind the occasional holiday one, but this one hurts the eyes something fierce.

Someone posted in another game I'm in...

Go to User Preferences, drop down theme color to custom, at the bottom of custom, select load colors from... whatever your preferred theme is, and click create.

It should go away. I use the "white" theme and it worked for me!

Hit "User Preferences" up in the upper left corner.

On the right of the options, you'll see a window labeled RPoL Preferences. At the top of that list is "Your Control Panel" with an option on themes. Click "create one".

This opens up the option to custom-create your own color scheme. If you're just looking to replace the eye-biting April Fool's scheme, ignore all those color codes and head down to the bottom, where it says "load colours from".

Open the dropdown menu next to this, and select your favorite default or holiday RPoL theme (I prefer the Dark Blue motif, it's easier on my eyes).

Click "Grab Them" and wait for it to grab all the colors and things.  Then click "Create".  That gives you a custom skin that overwrites the usual holiday skins.

I'm not surprised by it, I just forget that the April's fools one is always so horrible.

I don't mind some of the holiday ones, but the April Fool's Dark one just makes me feel like I'm staring at garish neon lights in the middle of the night.
