Just a head up -  I am way from home most of next week, and won't be home until Monday 10th.  Off to watch some of the UK Snooker Championship.

No more posting, from me,  in the Combat threads until after New Year, although I will be around for most of the holidays.  I will however, open up a The Dragon's Den for some non-combat RP if anyone is interested.

I hope you all have a good Soltstice, Christmas, New Year (or anything else that you celebrate)

Just as a reminder -  The Dragon's Den is a Fuzzy Thread - which means that you can join in with your main characters, even though they are out adventuring.  Those of you who have entourage members  that have stayed at home (Tusk Town, Ringbridge or anywhere else) can bring them into the Dragon's Den ...  up to you.

I am expecting everyone home fairly shortly (winter is drawing in and travel gets more difficult) so there is another round of  Kingdom Building  to prepare for.  Actually two rounds of Kingdom Building, as Henry won't send you out in the freezing snows.  Anyone who has not yet recieved 2BP from Henry will get a extra BP to spend.  The rest iof you will have to work with the income from your holdings.

http://rp.baileymail.net/doku...._land:midmarch:start

Level 2 and level 3 characters will each go up a level  (Fours and Fives will have to wait a bit longer) - so you might want to prepare for that as well.  You will be entitled to an entourage follower, so you might want to give some thought to that (assuming you have time spare :)

In reply to ~ Jensen (msg # 60):

Actually, Jensen is a Squire who will eventually 'grow up' into a Cohort, and needed a feat :)

That said, you can certainly take a warrior as an entourage character, and have them act as your squire whe n on the road.

link to a message in this game:
Class: Entourage Assistants will generally have levels in the Adept, Expert or Warrior Classes Note . Commoners or Aristocrats will be an exception and need an awfully good backstory.

However, you may use any of those (house-rule) NPC Archetypes that you linked earlier, if you so choose.

I have just added the following text to the Business pages of the Kingdom Rules

quote:
**Bonus 1:**  For those of you who own a business capable of creating items.  Any workshop will have masterwork tools in it, and you will have staff who are skilled in using those tools - Therefore you may take a +4 Skill Roll Bonus when you make something during the down time associated with a Kingdom Turn. ++Note| This includes mundane items, Masterwork Items, Scroll, Potions and Magical Items - BUT you must have the appropriate 'workshop' and ability within your business.++

**Bonus 2:**  Once per Kingdom Turn you may ask your business to make you an item at 75% of the normal costs. ++Note| This includes mundane items, Masterwork Items, Scroll, Potions and Magical Items - BUT you must have the appropriate 'workshop' and ability within your business.++

Although right at this moment, I am teasing a FB scammer, who will soon be asking me to send her money .....   First one I have had for a couple of years  :)

She is working quite hard to make up answers to all the mundane questions she is asking.  But apparently this young nursing student finds my FB pics show this fat old man as 'good looking'  *grin*

We have already established that I don't have a web cam, and that I don't do hangouts :)  And I know my FB account is well locked down  :)

Facebook fishing in 2019? I'm weirdly impressed.

For us lucky enough to level up are we doing that now or do we wait until we're finished our respective adventures? Also how does the NPC thing work?

When we are back in  town running through the Kingdom turn.

If that page that Kendrick has linked doesn't answer your questions -  PM  me and I run through it with you :)
