Re: OOC2

And ......

A little while ago, I changed it so you could only see your own groups - in response to a couple of comments that there were too many posts.  Recently, I have come across a couple of occasions when people have lost access to past posts, or felt they have missed something.

In light of that,  I am prepared to add  people back into all the adventure groups - on an individual basis. I  am happy that you won't meta-game across threads -  so it is OK, even if you just want to follow the other story lines.

PM me ....

So how many threads if I ask to see all of them?
Currently I have 4 pages worth of threads :)

Re: OOC2

The only past threads I'm interested in seeing is my previous adventure thread, but if that requires all of them I'd be ok with that.

Though I do have 4 pages of threads... what's another page?

In reply to Zelona (msg # 780):

Done.  There are benefits to moving people between groups, but it does mean that players lose their back posts.

I have, occasionally, considered 'tidying up'  but then gone back to research something from the very earliest threads.  Maybe I'll get around to archiving them all one day  (

Re: OOC2

Now another Entourage-Assistant request  :)

For various reasons, I have been at Entourage Assistants and other NPCs   - and I have realised that we now have so many that I can't  always remember (or work out easily)  who belongs to whom.  Nor is it clear if some of them have a role in Midmarch

Sure, I can go back and look at ownership though the GM menus, but that takes some time.  Please will you look at the background sections on your Entourage Assistant character sheets and put some brief detail in there - as well as a line about who they work for and where.

I know some are my creations -  and I will put in background / histories for those guys.

Can I ask you to look at the Biography lines as well -  a public note of their role and location /allegiance in there  would be helpful for all of us :)  Brother Bartholomew and Gandred are both good examples of how you can do this.

I have added Domitius Companion or Domitius Squire to their bio.  That help?

Re: OOC2

Yes, thank you.  :)

I have just worked through all on my main NPCs doing the same thing.  Just about to start on the few ~NPCs that I am responsible for and then on to backgrounds for the guys I created - and then handed over.

Re: OOC2

The only information that most of us can see about each other's characters is:
  • their bio lines, only when they make a post;
  • their portrait, when they make a post, or by clicking on their name in the Cast list; and
  • their description, by clicking on their portrait, or by clicking on their name in the Cast list.

Re: OOC2

Thanks  :)  if I am starting to lose track of who is who -  it must be worse for you guys.  Especially when a new entourage pops up with little or no introduction.

It hasn't been too much of an issue, until recently -  The Entourage count is getting high, and they are starting to pop up more in Fuzzy threads ...

I love the concept of people having lots of RP opportunities -  but the admin is getting complicated  :P  And, if it doesn't involve spreadsheets and numbers,  I am (at best) a mediocre administrator.

Changed all associated NPC biographies to read Mordanian. :O. And less fun, but more suitable descriptors added to character sheets and character description.

Posted, link to a message in this game

Is this what you intended?
I can certainly fill out more information for the public.
But with the private lines, I have my personal and things for WSM. I would imagine that Domitius would have duplicate info in his post?

How should we handle the joint business interests? (GM post with private lines to Domitius and Kendrick?) We could still plan via PM, but GM handles the final ledger?

Re: OOC2

Thank you, very much like that.  At some point, we can add a section for family background (both private and public).  And another for (mainly Private) for Character Goals and Aims  (Which I may (or may not) take into concideration when I am planning things)

In reply to DM (msg # 795):

Ok. I'll start moving items from my PM to myself to that thread. I'm sure that it would be helpful for the GM to know my notes and not have to navigate through godknows how many PMs the GM may be wading through. ;)

But until that process if finished, I will include a link to the PM

@DM - I just tried to emulate Kendrick's post. I put a couple of things in PL to notes.

What else do you want to see in there for your information?

Thank you.  I appreciate it.    Character background would be good  :0

Ideally with the obvious bits, or the bits you talk about, as Public Lines and the  rest as private.
