Don't worry, my friend. I think Yacob was talking about himself, and perhaps the rest of us, instead of you, Zell.
We're all metagaming in that we know that we're supposed to free Kalia, and that leaving her be, even though doing so makes sense from a certain point of view, isn't really an option since she's a PC.

I may not be able to post much over the next couple of weeks.  If I do post and they seem both short in length and short in temper please forgive me.  My wife's sister is in the hospital and currently in an induced coma until tuesday after surgery at the earliest.  Because of the current Hippa laws (some of them being hypocritical in ways not intended by their authors), we are having a rough time getting updates on her condition.

Rivka has the right of it. I was referencing myself. There are certain things that occur that I react completely out of character for. Our new PC being the easiest to explain. I refuse to leave her behind because I know out of character that she is a player. That is me the player controlling Yacob.

  Yacob would very much let "Sleeping Elves Lie" as Rivka put it. At the very least til he had the complex secure and knew the risks involved. Then he would spend a year doing the research into who she is and why and how she wound up there.  Then if all of that said let her out only then would he attempt it. It is how a Mage thinks. Minimize the risks, ascertain hows and whys, then act. Rarely do Mages throw fireballs when talking would be a simpler solution. It has happened on occasion, but not much of one. Yacob is built on the principles of 2nd Edition Mages. They are not meant to get close to the business end of a sword.

   You didn't metagame Zell. AND you are not dropping from the game Kalia sorry not allowed. So we get you free and go from there.

Sorry to hear of your families troubles, prayers for you both. I came by to look, can't really post myself yet :). Glad I can still watch.
