Before she can dismiss the spell, Kell asks, showing the Large weapons he has taken, "how strong are the auras on the greatsword and the greathammer?"

"Faint. Everything else is faint."

Quinn takes the simple black blade and the adamantine armor if Kell can fit it to him.

  "I can tell Nym if need be to bring you some things Tracks." the dwarf realized he had over reacted more than a little. He knew he was on edge and he was terribly worried. A dragon had attacked this place. And now he knew why. "Listen very carefully Tracks and you as well Zell. That stone that Tracks carries might be the most powerful magic I have ever seen. And more to the point might be the reason a powerful dwarven citadel was destroyed. The key to this mystery is on the third floor of the upper portion of the tower above us. I have a feeling that no where will be safe after this for any of us."

Nino enjoyed the fact that he could make doors explode with his new magical gauntlet. When Bob Bob went into the room with all the stuff in it (books), Nino picked up pieces of the door and was hitting it again.

"Is there a magic shield?"

  OOC: Missed the post above cause well I'm moving fast. this next section goes with it.

 He turns as Nino explodes the door. "Good job Nino. We need to find a special book folks. I don't know the name, but we will know it when we find it."

Kell answers "I believe there were a few. Ask Sonori, she Read the room."

"Sonori? Magic shields?"

"All the shields are lightly magical," Sonori replied to Quinn.

The after-affects of seeing far more magic at once than she had ever seen before, of glowing spots burnt into her retinas, was starting to fade. She opened her eyes, but still leaned against the wall for support. "You're right," she said to Nym. "That's a lot. Even when you are somewhat prepared and when some has been removed by the others."

She began to walk back to the items she thought would be best for her, keeping one hand on the wall for support.

She went to the bag first. Just to make sure she was probably right, first she took out a piece of chaulk from her current backpack and put it in the magical bag, closed it, then opened it, and reached in to pull the chaulk back out.

Quinn selects a large steel shield to replace the one he had.

Noticing for the first time that one of the new people was following them and was injured. the cleric approaches the new comer while Yacob, Zell and Nino were working on the doors, and in broken dwarven says Everyone calls me Tracks, I see that you are injured perhaps I can help. He then pulls a wand off his hip and lightly touches Breslin's shoulder, Breslin feels his injuries healing.


16:04, Today: Jonathan rolled 9 using 1d8+1.  cure light wand.



When Nino destroy's the door to the library Jonathan puts his wand away and pulls his staff from his back. Entering the library the young cleric is all business, he very slowly and meticulously begins to search the room.

"There's a lot of books here. What are we searching for?" Zell asked as he started reading the titles on books....if there were any "Government of a Modern Society, History and Social Constructs of Galeb Duhr, Modern Geology, Silverbeard's favorite mushroom recipes...yeah, I'm not finding anything."

The group (Meaning Breslin, Johnathan, Yacob and Zell) searched the room while Nino picked up the wood and punched it...it seemed the gauntlet enhanced his strength with the gauntlet hand.

Johnathan offered to heal the dwarf who waved him away. "Nay good priest....me wife is an acomplished healer herself. When i returned, i was near death from th' wound. they healed me well, but she said there was some resudual pain and healing that needed doin' on it's own....no magic would heal it. Time will help me, nothin' more"he snorted as he searched. "Katala was pretty mad i came....she thought it may kill me."

After a time, Zell gave up, looking at books and tossing them in a pile while breslin was preoccupied, muttering titles in excitement.  Even Yacob managed a few gasps, placing a few books to the side of dwarven and elvish history.  It was Johnathan who finally called out, holding up a grey book about the size of a small spellbook. Yacob came over and looked at it.

the dwarf was amazed at what the book held....information on the 8 stones, descriptions and possible locations of each, as well as information on the enigmatic Zarmatan, as well as The mistress and such.

In the book there was an old scrap of paper with some writing on it, unknown to you all

Having gathered and packed a couple of weapons, Kell joins the others above. Discovering that the room is a library, Kell, an avid historian, looks for texts in Giantish or Gol-kaa, vowing to learn dwarvish as soon as he can.

OOC: I don't know if it holds true in this game, but I read somewhere that both Dwarvish and Giantish use the same alphabet in writing. Thus the letters might be familiar, but he would not know the words.

I'll keep this with the stone, I think we should get back with the group and decide where we go from here.

 "No I have a feeling Waterdeep is our next destination." he says as if that was almost a certainty. When the goliath joins the group in the library he says "If you want to look do it quickly. We don't have much time."

Nym catches up to Yacob and the others.  Noticeably different in the gloves and chain mail he first noticed in the armory.

"Waterdeep?"

Seeing the room is a library, Nym continues.

"Did you find any more spell books?"

  "No I found something far more important honestly." is all he says as he heads down to the main floor.

Seeing that the magical backpack seemed to handle her chaulk okay, Sonori took the things out of her normal backpack and placed them in there. Then she went to the rings, selecting one of them and placing it on a finger. Then she returned to the wands to find one that could help restore certain kinds of damage to help the entire party.

Nino seemed to be enjoying himself while everyone else was looking through the books. Nino didn't have any interest in that at all as he finally sat down against the wall until it was time to go.

Hearing Yacob mention that he can only identify 4 items, Jonathan pulls a scroll from his scroll tube and reads the spell allowing him to read magic. Then he moves over to the wands and begins to look for a wand of identify so the group will know what items they have found.

Nym speaking Dwarvish as best he can calls Nino over to the armor to see if the crazy dwarf wants or needs some better armor.  The ones that will dwarves that is.  Nym also checks out the leather armor to see if any would fit his friend Oler.
