Remaining underwater, Kell's strong strokes propel him downstream in pursuit of Sonori.

Nym is about to smart off to her but cuts short his words at the appearance of the stranger.  Instead he watches the retreating army warily.

Neliwen was awed when the man showed up and intimidated the enemy commander into retreating from the clearing. Flying back to the other side of the river, Neliwen's mephit form became visible again. Dismissing the transformation magic, the mage returned to her elven form.

She curtsied before the man "Thank you, Zarmatan, for preventing a massacre." her pale blue eyes mustered him for a second "I am Neliwen Nenuial, please excuse me, I have to look after our companion." she introduced herself and turned away to look after the dwarf.

Making sure Nino had snapped out of his rage, the elf closed in, her hands up in a peaceful gesture. A brief examination showed a bad hit, but nothing life threatening. Muttering a prayer to the unicorn queeen, Neliwen's hand began to glow in a warm rose color. "Stay calm, this will help you." she told him and smiled gently. Touching him slowly the healing energy passed through the injured skin, slowly knitting the bone and muscle together.

Quinn stood in awe for a moment then shook it off, he was a man.

Zell became visible again as he went to stand by Rivka, keeping an eye on the man who claimed to be Zarmatan. Zell was shaking a bit as he whispered to the love of his life,

"That was a close one."

 Yacob lands and scoffs "Snails and racing. Well that comes from trying to find you in as fast a fashion as possible. We have two members down stream we gotta go get them and then get to cover. I'm betting your opposite won't be long." the dragon man simply chuckles as he takes off again to find the missing members of their party.

Sonori, not knowing the skirmish is over, continues swimming.

She looks for a good place to hide under water, perhaps an area with many reeds or seaweeds. She is small, and good at hiding, but her endurance is not limitless, so she knows to start looking before she grows tired.

Nino was confused. So much is happening at once that the only thing he thought of at the moment was his wine skin and some beef jerky as he watched to see what was going on. He smiled at the thin elf lady for healing his wound on his chest.

The old man looked at the group, focusing on Yacob and Nino.
"Seems you have an interesting tale to tell. I haven't seen that weapon in an age." he said nodding towards Nino. "...in fact it's only ever had one owner. To choose someone now is fitting, given what is happening."

He looks at Yacob. "I also reconise that staqff you hold half dragon....it was locked away in dwarvenhold. You have a tale to tellk too, but maybe when we are in the elven home. The queen is a long way away, still gaining strength, but her daughters and her army won't stay away long, even from me."

He crossed his arms. "...so maybe find your friends and we can get moving."

"Excuse me, sir, but Nino there doesn't have a clue what you're saying." Zell said as he walked up to his dwarven friend and crouched down and pointed to his weapon hand "Nino, this is GOOD."

Yacob chuckles some more as he flies off in search of Sonori and Kell. When he sees them he swoops down and tells them to get shore. When they do if they can he then finds them and gets them pointed back towards the group. Hopefully they arent too far.

Nym moves closer to Neliwen after she heals Nino.  He keeps watch out on the retreating army, but also takes a close look at Zarmatan.

Given that the army of monsters retreated and that Nino's wound still hadn't closed completely healed, the pale elf sent another prayer to the Unicorn Queen and watched it eventually becoming a patch of fresh pink skin.

Patiently she waited until Yacob returned with the other two.

Nino smiles at the thin elf lady as a way of thanks and opens his backpack and hands her some beef jerky.

The thin elf lady returns Nino's smile gently and looks with bewilderment at the jerky he offered her. Realizing it was his way of thanking her, she took the offered meat. Eyeing it a bit suspiciously she closed her eyes and took a small bite, the tough jerky nearly taking out her teeth, but with all her courage and strength it worked. Neliwen opened her eyes and chewed on it, a death-defying expression on her face, and mouthed a quiet "Thank you." in the dwarven tongue. "I guess I better save some of this for later." she commented as she put the food into her pack.

Zell chuckles at the expense of poor Neliwen with the beef jerky,

"Everywhere we go, Nino gets beef jerky. It's probably fresh, too!"

The pale sun elf looks at Zell with a sheepish smile muttering "Thanks, I... uh... I am not hungry right now."

She gets back to her feet, dusting off her robes and stows the wand that she had kept in her hand until now. "We should not waste any time." Neliwen commented.

"Agreed." Quinn says quietly in reply.

Rivka nodded
"Is our wizard back with our stragglers yet?"

 After a short while Yacob flies back. "I found them. They are on their way and we should get going as well."

Sonori returns to the group. She is disappointed that the enemy didn't fall for the ruse. "Does anyone need healing?" She asked, hoping to help in some manner.

It took some time, but with Yacob flying over the river and the tracking skills of Rivka, both pof the members were found and came back. All the while, the human looked towards the trees, where most could see movement from the trees.

When they all returned, the human turned to them all. "It's time to go....so if you have any urgent and non-stupid questions, ask now. If not, save them for the queens court." He looked at Neliwen. "...she's been waiting on the supplies.."

<OOC: Anyone wants to ask him anything urgent, you have 2 days. At that time i will move us to the elven village (New thread), and the next part of the mission>

"If I have any questions, they can wait until we're safe. I'm ready to move and move quickly."

Neliwen had patiently stood by the people of the group and Zarmatan, waiting for the others to join them again. As the mage addressed her she looked up "I am ready and eager to return." she replied, knowing how important her mission was to the village and the Queen's court.

Quinn readies to travel again. It was going to be rough fighting these enemies of the elves!
