Chapter IX: Dire Revelations
An hour passes, as the mist outside grows brighter and begins to slowly lift. Calvorn returns not long after, carrying over his shoulder a sack of appropriated vegetables, including tomatoes, lettuce, carrots and turnips. In his other hand he carries a bucket of fresh water in which a wooden ladle rests, which he is doing his best not to slosh. He places these down beside the sleeping knights as he seats himself beside Aerendir, who sits with his back to a stack of hay, keeping watch. Erald still sits, wide-eyed and huddled in the rangers cloak. There is no sign of Falnis.
