The river flows from Milborne to Thurmaster, but it is a slow moving river and there are barges going both directions.

You can buy equipment once you are in either town. You are currently at Parlfray's Keep, which is several miles outside of Thurmaster.

So what's the plan?

My suggestion: Tell Count Parlfray that we're going to check out a possible lead and will return soon to check in with him, go to Thurmaster so everyone can resupply, catch a barge to Milborne, and then try to find Old Grizzler before looking for the Gleaming Glade.

Fine with me. I was only trying to incorporate Karon's suggestion. But I agree that we don't need to tell him exactly where we are going.

That seems like a decent compromise. It might be easier to just not tell Karon. Just have a conversation with the Count and don't tell the half-orc you didn't tell the Count the entire thing...

Just letting you know I'm going away twice in the upcoming month, 14th to 22nd July and then 31st July to 7th August. There should be wifi so I should be able to post, but it'll all be from mobile.
