Re: OOC

*claps appreciatively*

Anita: to give you a little more info, Lucien is actually an ex-spy who worked in the underworld where he met Paran and helped him move on from some dark times. Pulling him towards the light would probably be very appropriate for his backstory. Paran, thoughts?

Re: OOC

That might do nicely, Antia being the moral compass and you providing the way out...

It would need to be close friends then as it's kind of hard to take someone external as moral compass or trust him enough to pull you out of a mess of murders and corruption of evil-demon grade.

Re: OOC

Time got away from me tonight and I will be away from home all day tomorrow, so I'll try to get us started on Thursday. Sorry. And thanks for your patience.

Re: OOC

@Anita: Excellent!

@Paran: That works for Lucien. He's been around for awhile (by human standards) so he would know enough to recognize someone in over their head and befriend them.

Re: OOC

On a completely different note, what kind of music do you guys listen to to get in the mood for d&d (or any other rpg), if any?

The Conan the Barbarian Soundtrack. The music to that film is just epic and nothing gets me in the mood better than listening to that opening narration, followed by the awesome title music.

Re: OOC

I'd go with the Lord of the Rings soundtrack music, for pretty much Magdelein's reasons.

Re: OOC

I'm always in the mood to play D&D, so I don't bother listening to anything. If I need to for some reason, LotR/Hobbit music is pretty much the best there is.

Re: OOC

The various World of Warcraft soundtracks are really good. Other than those I do lots of movie scores: Gladiator, 300, Kingdom of Heaven etc

Re: OOC

Okay, I finally got the first game thread posted. Sorry for all the delays.

I'll throw something your way this weekend. In the meantime, go ahead and use this time for some in-character interactions, to get to know each other a little bit.

Hi guys just to let you all know I will be on a family holiday from next Monday to Friday. I will have my phone but depending on the signal availability posting might be a little patchy.

Re: OOC

Hello, everyone! I apologize, but I've been excessively tired the past couple days and haven't quite been up to posting. I might be able to move things along for you tonight, but most likely, it won't be until Thursday (I'm gone all day on Wednesdays). Sorry!

I just made a little standard travel post. I don't know if we wanted to formalize marching order and watches or not.

Re: OOC

Yes, go ahead.

When you post your actions, include any rolls in orange text at the bottom of the post. If you don't want to roll (or forget to), I can handle the rolling for you.

Re: OOC

No, they pointed to the woods, whence the arrows came, and called whoever shot the arrows "Bandits!"

Sorry that wasn't clear.

Re: OOC

1) Called it.

2) Is it a new round and can we post new actions?

3) Any results from the perception checks?
