I realize learning UC will be time-consuming and not terribly helpful at first. Esp. b/c Alisandra is not the best student. At least she'll learn the words for "surrender, surface scum!"

In 3.5/PF, it's skill points to learn languages, which is cool, but not at all realistic. I find I prefer 5ED's "you gotta learn it the long way unless you blow a whole [precious] feat at it."

I think Lucien will participate in the lessons. I'll be done a whole 2 weeks before Alisandra :P

Sylviel there's a summary of everything that Lucien relates in "The Story So Far" Part 11. There's probably a little more detail in there than he actually says, but he won't particularly hold back on much.

Out of character, it's the village she was born in being raided and basically depopulated. I don't feel it's particularly note worthy from a historic perspective less we wish to make it so?

Basically from the synopsis and some side conversation with Rissa OOC it felt there was a sort of chain of series of raids that you were all pursuing and felt a good motivational tie in for a vengeance paladin to be personally affected by it lol.

Something to give  Alisandra darksight. Magic weapons. Healing supplies (scrolls, potions, Keotohm’s Ointment, whatever

You won't find anything other than the basic equipment listed in the PHB in Milborne. Let me know if you're purchasing any supplies.

And I can move us on to the next day whenever everyone is ready. Just let me know.

I need one more fight and a long rest, and I've got you on the Darkvision.
