Hi Jinx Jinx Jinx!

I'd update on what's happened over the last four years, but we have a Chronicler now whose taken care of literally all of it.

Welcome Jinx!

In reply to Rissa Twiceborn (msg # 29):

I almost feel bad about how much there is to read though. We've got the '10 minute movies' version now we need the whole story in 30 seconds version.

@DM: Does only Rissa get an action at first?

Re: OOC III

Poor Jinx.

We'd been dawdling in the city for like 2 weeks IRL, and the moment they join it's like "we're in the tunnels now, miles away! Here's 10 pages of backstory, oh shit, sentient bears!"

To be fair, the sentient bears are new for everybody. The gnomes did warn us about an ambush.

Re: OOC III

How wide is the tunnel?
Are these creatures medium size or larger?

Re: OOC III

The tunnel is 20 feet wide at the current location.

They are medium-sized humanoids.

I’ll be traveling all day tomorrow and checking in / posting will be unlikely.

If it gets round to me and you are still waiting: Heldig will bring his hammer to bear on the quaggoth (whether it is paralyzed or not).

@Jinx. Paralyzed means you get advantage.

  1. A paralyzed creature is incapacitated (see the condition) and can’t move or speak.
  2. The creature automatically fails Strength and Dexterity Saving Throws.
  3. Attack rolls against the creature have advantage.
  4. Any Attack that hits the creature is a critical hit if the attacker is within 5 feet of the creature.

I had to look it up because I didn't remember.

12 miles of underground tunnels is easily a full days' travel.  I've no experience with caving (more properly, spelunking, I guess) but if I imagine a good, solid hike through rough terrain expecting a distance of 12 miles in one day sounds about right to me.  Perhaps two days' worth of travel if we took it a bit easy and/or encountered problems.

Heldig fancies himself a bit of a tactician (nothing that has a game effect at all, just a role playing quirk via a personality trait).  So if we sit down to hash out a plan, he'd likely have some input.
