In case you forgot, the bandits who attacked you on the river smelled of fish, and in the lower level of the keep in the Thornwood, you found two silvered flasks (with the same symbol as on the goblin shaman's ring) that each contained a viscous liquid that smells of fish.

Also, though Three Elks and Kuiper are running low on hit points, I strongly recommend that you push forward a while longer before you rest.

An Arcana roll is not needed for that.

But yes, one of the spears is magical.

Three Elks will stand guard during a short rest, since I don't think he will regain anything.  The next long rest however, I get to level him up.  I'm thinking Wild Magic Barbarian, thus the unusual descriptions I've been dropping lately.

FYI: The cottage becomes 30'x20'. It has two small bedrooms. In one bedroom is a plain wooden chest containing thousands of electrum, gold, and platinum pieces, as well as numerous gems and a Staff of Frost. There are also two more of the silvered flasks containing the viscous liquid that smells of fish.
