Re: OOC II

I was thinking that we'd spend the night in Thurmaster before heading out. Now that we're closer to the keep in the Thornwood, it is probably faster to use that entrance to the tunnels in order to get back to where we met the deep gnomes right?

Re: OOC II

I think we rented boats to go into the Thornwood last time, can we do that again?

Re: OOC II

Seeing as how you never returned the boat you used last time, you would have a hard time getting someone to rent one to you, but you could buy one. That would save you a little time getting there.

You could also just take a quick ferry across the river and walk into the Thornwood.

Quick ferry and walk... who doesn't love a nice walk in the woods?  :)

I'm starting to worry that this staff is cursed with how Rissa is handling it.

Re: OOC II

Ha!  DM hasn't told me if it is.

I've just been in love with Wands and Staffs since they retooled them in 5th, and have never gotten to play a character who got anything more powerful than a Wand of Knock. Don't get me wrong, Grank Booyahg the Goblin Aberrant Mind Sorcerer loves that wand, but it's not a wand of Magic Missiles.

Rissa has a fricking Staff of Frost!

I can't wait to be high enough level to actually use any of its major powers.

Sorry for not posting on Thursday (or Friday) like I said I would; I ended up being much busier this week than I had expected. Thankfully, I see you have kept yourselves entertained in my absence! :)

Re: OOC II

You were due for a long rest based on the timing anyway; you've been traveling for more than 18 hours already.

Re: OOC II

Rissa, I would advise against resting inside the magical hut. It can only stay full-sized for up to 8 hours at a time, and you don't want to be inside it when it suddenly shrinks down.

Also, note that you can only make it grow to its full size twice per day.

Lathan only needs 4 hours of trance to be fully rested, so as long as he gets that, he can go wherever is most needed.

Re: OOC II

I should have been more specific in my request...

What is your exact schedule for resting and keeping watch? How long are you resting for a long rest? And when is each person keeping watch during that rest (e.g. Party Members A & B are on watch for the first X hours; Party Members C & D are on watch for the next X hours; etc.)?

Let me know the schedule you intend to use. We'll keep this as the standard until you decide to change it.

Re: OOC II

So, if we double up on watches, that’s three shifts of at least 2 hours and 40 minutes each. We could stretch that out to 3 hours each for a total of nine for the whole long rest. (Or even three shifts of four hours each for 12 total). Which do y’all prefer?

Also, (as specifically mentioned in posts) I have Lucien and Rissa on first watch; Alisandra and Jinx on last watch, so I guess that leaves Lathan and Three Elks on middle watch. That okay with everyone?
